We arrived very late after a celebration in Oxford but nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was clean and bright, the breakfast excellent. Highly recommended.

A little gem. Warm welcome, pleasant (spotless) rooms and fantastic breakfasts, in a quiet village. Debbie is a great host with nothing too much trouble. Only my first visit but now I know of the Gate House I will definitely return when needing accommodation in the area.

Very warm and friendly welcome whith noting to much trouble from the owners. So much so that they drove us back to car that we left at a wedding from the night before. Rooms clean and pleasent and lovely linen. Great breakfast.

The Gate House is in a quaint town of Middleton-Cheney around 10 minutes from Banbury. Debbie, the proprietor, is accommodating, friendly and yet unobstrusive. Debbie's breakfasts are as delicious as a four star restaurant. ( do order the fruit with yogurt). The rooms are small, but extremely clean. The town is so wonderfully English country. A well needed stay after... More

The Gate House is a wonderful find, hosted perfectly by the very welcoming Debbie, whose flexibility on service and excellent local knowledge on pubs & restaurants proved invaluable during our short stay. The house is set in a charming country location, not far from Banbury, and less than 10 minutes from the Silverstone Park & Ride, which was perfect for... More
