I stayed for 2 nights and the welcome at reception was very welcoming and friendly and changed my mood instantly-the staff made the stay- Also the restaurant staff were very pleasant and a great breakfast menu- and food.

We had a room out near the courtyard where a Marquee is permanently erected, this stopped the daylight incoming to our dark room and it's a good job there was no function going on when we stayed. No air conditioning and no window to let...More

I wanted to love this hotel so much but I didn't have a fantastic experience. It was only an "average" experience. The building is old and has undeniable charm. But that elder charm also makes the building tired. I agree with the other reviewers here...More

Visited for 1 night Check in fine pleasant and helpful Evening meal good. Waitress lovely and food fine. Reception area bar and restaurant all clean and as expected for type of venue nice Room let stay down. No toiletries not even soap. Everything needed updating...More
