The Travelodge Worthing Seafront is often appreciated for its prime location by the sea and the stunning views it affords. Guests frequently compliment the hotel's cleanliness and the spaciousness of the rooms, though some feel that areas of the hotel could benefit from an update. While the warm service and substantial breakfast offerings are highlights for many travelers, others have expressed concerns about noise disruption and the value for the price paid. Despite mixed feelings on some aspects, the friendly staff and comfortable beds are consistently praised.

Travelodge Worthing offers a great central seafront location at a very reasonable price. Older style rooms but large with all the usual features you'd expect from Travelodge. Clean and Comfortable and we were lucky enough to have sea view. staff were very friendly and helpful especially Ania and Jodi. It was my birthday and they went out of their way to make it special with a sea view room and a birthday drink

Was supposed to be abroad but holiday was cancelled due to covid19. Decided to get away for a few days anyway. We were a little concerned how the current situation would impact our experience. We didn't need to worry! The reception staff at the hotel were very welcoming and explained what Travelodge were doing to make our stay as safe as possible whilst still making our stay as comfortable as possible. Hand sanitiser is available in the reception masks have to be worn in public areas (anywhere outside your room). Housekeeping do not enter your room to clean/make beds which we preferred anyway. You can ask for more tea/coffee and towels at reception if you need them. The location of this Travelodge makes social distancing very easy. Its directly opposite the beach with lovely walks along the wide promenade.
We stayed on the 3rd floor with a fabulous seaview. It was really relaxing leaving the window open and listening to the sea rolling in and out. (If you happen to stay in room 302, Steven Seagull will probably visit and stare through the window...he is a little partial to soft cookies!).The room is a little small and could do with updating but is perfectly adequate for us and great to use as a base. Plenty of places to eat at in the town, all of whom are following social distancing.
If you want a get away for a few days but are worried about how safe it is don't be. The protocols in place at this travelodge are enough to make it feel safe without impacting on the quality of the stay. Well done Travelodge!

Standard Travelodge. Looks as if it's a hotel they bought and refurbished. Subsequently some rooms are bigger than the standard size. Ours was for three adults and was large. Also had a bathroom with a window. Staff were very helpful, allowed us to store bicycles in a secure location and changed towels on request. Location is great, close to town. Room was clean and quiet at night. A nice stay for two nights.

The hotel was in an excellent location and parking was expensive but easy to find and free between 6pm - 9am. The entrance lobby was spacious but a little tired looking.

The room was on the ground floor and the only window had the hotels bins outside it which was quite unpleasant and smelt in the extreme heat.

The room was spacious but a little tired with some staining on the floor. Some of the towels had marks on them. The shower gel ran out after 2 days.

Beds were comfortable.

Stayed for valentine's night and had a lovely time. The staff on the front desk were very polite and friendly. Our room was at the back of the hotel and was spacious, quiet and warm. The shower was fantastic. We had breakfast in the on site cafe and it was perfect. Great selection of hot and cold food and really good coffee. The gentleman working in the cafe was very attentive, clearing our plates and making sure all the food was up to standard. The hotel is perfectly situated for strolling along the sea front or for going into town. It was excellent value for money and will definitely be staying again. Thoroughly recommend.

Picked this hotel due to its location in Worthing, close to the train station, centre of town, access to the National Cycle Network 2 and a hotel that allows bicycles to be kept in rooms.
We had 2 rooms between 3 of us, both with proper sea views. Both very clean with adequate room, especially the double room where we kept our bikes.
There is a very small first come first served car park at the rear, although we couldn’t get a parking space there was opportunity to unpack the car without risking a ticket for not paying and displaying for such a short period. We parked in the NCP Union St, discounted price being an NCP app user, this was almost 40% cheaper than closer car parks for 48hrs.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
We particularly enjoyed the 2am ‘cabaret’ by 2 neighbouring rooms arguing who was making the most noise..
Being cyclists the NCN2 is the promenade, so we made use of a near on 50 mile route on well signposted cycle routes.
We would use this hotel again.

We stayed at the Worthing seafront travelodge for 2 nights. It’s a quirky regency building right on the seafront with local bars, pubs , restaurants and cafes within a 2 minute walk and very close to the town centre shops and the pier. We have stayed there before. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The hotel and rooms are clean and any problems are always sorted out. This time we booked for one night, then the day before booked another night. we explained this to Lana on reception and she arranged for us to stay in the same room both nights - a lovely cosy business floor room with a sea view. We booked in early, so we bumped into the cleaning supervisor Victoria who asked us to let us know if there was anything she could help with. We went out and, on returning , the room key didn’t work, but this was quickly and pleasantly Dealt with by Anya who gave us a new key. The lifts are quite small, because of the nature of the building, and there are some steps to navigate up to the doors but, having stayed at the premier inn, we prefer travelodge because the staff are friendly and helpful, and it is a lot closer to town.

The staff, especially at reception and the cleaning team, were very helpful and friendly and not just in a 'we've been told to smile' way but they were genuinely human and quite lovely. My visit was during Covid-19 and good measures were in place. I had a lovely sea-view room, which was clean, although the carpet and bathroom fixtures were starting to show their age. However, the comfortable bed, lovely view and friendly staff more than make up for the fact that it is not a 'new new' hotel. Also, I like the fact that I could control the temperature in the room myself, which isn't always the case in newer properties.

Location is amazing, right on the seafront. Rooms spacious. But carpet in the room not clean, obviously hadn't been vacuumed, room generally felt unclean (ie old rings from drinks) and decor generally a bit tired. However, staff incredibly friendly and eager to help, from the housekeeping staff to front desk, and in particular Ewan, who ran the breakfast session this morning single-handed bless him. Running the whole time and he was much appreciated! Also, we are in a heat wave and it was really nice just having a sheet on the bed, instead of our usual hassle of removing the cover from the duvet in a hot hotel room.

We were going to a family party, so needed to stay one night in Worthing. We paid £192 including a cancellation fee for a room only basis. Arrived at Travel Lodge Worthing after 4pm. Checked in at reception which was grubby and scruffy. A member of staff came to check us in after we had waited for a few minutes and had to ring the bell, She appeared chewing food, was not smart, or very friendly, we felt we were being nuisance. When we booked we had asked for a quiet room overlooking the sea, and was given a back room overlooking terraced houses, gardens, dustbins and a small car park. On entering the room, the bathroom had extensive mould around the window, the toilet was dirty and had a broken seat. The lift floor was dirty and there was no sign of any cleaning. This is a time when we should be taking extra precautions. there was hand sanitiser available in reception but not displayed well. All in all a very expensive stay in a run down hotel. Awful.
