The stay at Findon is an economy hotel but it was clean and functional. Only issue we had was sorted really quickly and very politely. Wonderful little village with lots of restaurants and pubs for evening meal. Parking was a little tight on the Friday night but not a big issue. Only 20 mins from seafront at Worthing. Very much enjoyed the visit. Only little issue was the Wifi range in room 7 was very limited but standing in the landing you got a good signal.

Visiting the area for friends party, a great find! communication with the owner really good to get access information. The accommodation was spacious, clean and the added extras (bottles of water, spare bedding for put up bed, extra towels) were a nice touch! Really comfy bed! No iron in our room (number 11) which we needed but not a big issue.

This booking was last minute for the Brighton 2024 Marathon. The price of the hotel is reasonable but the state of it was kind of shocking. Me and my family had rooms 7,8,9 and 10. 9 and 10 were fairly clean. But 7 and 8 were filthy. There was hair in the shower. The bed had hair all over it and stains on the cover, which i called and got them replaced. Which she was lovely and understanding. However the ‘clean’ bedsheets still had a few stains on them. The floor was covered in crumbs, hair, god knows what (didn’t even look like they bothered to hoover). There was also a sofa in room 7 which was smothered in stains. The room altogether felt unclean and untidy. Which is just basic maintenance. In the end i ended up buying cleaning products and bedsheets (you don’t know who stayed before you). I also felt weird about the front door as any stranger could just come in and after seeing the review on someone being robbed i wasn’t surprised. Yes it was only £55 a night but no excuse for the uncleanliness of the room.

Don’t usually write reviews but felt compelled to say how much I enjoyed my stay at Findon Rest, nestled in the heart of this beautiful village, with comfy bed, and lovely decor, I found this a great find!
Clean comfortable and so reasonably priced, the owners could not have made me feel more welcome,
Country pubs with fires a few doors away, will definitely be back!!
Thank you Findon rest! A great nights sleep in beautiful surroundings I will be back!!

Was disappointed about the cleanliness, hairs in shower and dirty mugs, very dusty all around could do with a spruce up and general tidiness also no signs to put up to say you need room serviced. Towels not up to scratch very worn and tired. Shower room not fit for purpose

My husband and I decided we needed a short break away so booked last minute. We were recommended to stay here by friends who also enjoyed their stay. I just wanted to say what a great experience we had from start to finish. Rooms were clean and inviting, location was perfect and it was very reasonably priced. We had a lovely short break child free.

Such a lovely stay in a beautiful place! We will definitely come again, thank you ☺️

Pleasantly surprised with the quality for the price. Easy check in and good location with parking. The bed and pillows were very comfortable to watch Netflix and enjoy a good cuppa of tea. A quite area to get a good nights sleep.
Would stay again.

Great place to stay.
Needed somewhere in Worthing area and only had a small budget. This was ticked all the boxes.
Comfy bed, clean room, own bathroom, good size TV, quiet area and free parking - what more do you need for a night or two?
Will definitely stay there again and would recommend to friends and family.

Sorry for late reply... There are stairs as soon as you enter, rooms seem to be above retail units. Rough guess is maybe 20 steps...
