The pub is huge with extremely high ceilings and tiffany style lighting. You can imagine the grandeur in days gone by A very convenient place for a drink if going by train from Worthing central station There are booth areas within the pub A large screen showing the football Its a bit dated and grubby Good bar service

Stayed for the Brighton marathon weekend and was provided a travel cot in our room. At breakfast time, we was told breakfast would be started at 7am (for the runners) when it was actually 7.30am. I asked member of staff for a highchair to be simply told "we don't have any". Overall, its shabbiness was what I expected for a...

Stayed the night before the Brighton marathon. Had already asked on the phone if breakfast could be early as needed to get to Brighton on Sunday morning. On arrival last night we were then told that breakfast would be from 7.30am instead of 8am. Half hour earlier wasn't really good enough as the train to Brighton was at 7.36am!!!! The...

Don't book a room here unless it is heavily discounted. The hotel is in desperate need of investment and is very shabby. Noisy at night and room not clean. Breakfast is basic, no fruit or yogurt. Only good point is free parking and rail station is opposite .Only stayed the one night and will not return.

Booked this pit of a place for my husband who was working in Worthing. When he arrived to check in after work there was one young member of staff serving in the bar which was full of what can only be described as "the cast of the Jermey Kyle show taking over doorways to smoke and refusing to move. My...

Went to breakfast at 8 am, but it looked congealed on the hot plate and no staff in sight. I found a cook cleaning the bar area in her cooking 'whites'?! I asked for some eggs but was told she could not do me any, as she was on her own.I would never stay here again.

Beware if you only have Scottish notes. They won't accept. Pity if u've ordered a large round of drinks and don't have English notes. Shameful in this day and age. They say it's because they've had a few forgeries however that can also happen with English notes. Don't waste ur time going here. And a note to the hotel Manager,...

Chose the Grand Victorian due to its location and because we enjoyed it last time. Once again we found it well priced and all the staff friendly. This time our room was not as well equipped as the last time, there was mouldy in the bathroom and the mirror was very dusty. The breakfast buffet offered an ample selection though...
