The Ardington Hotel is lauded for its immaculately clean and spacious rooms, with an inviting atmosphere that guests appreciate. While its rooms are generally celebrated for comfort, an isolated complaint about a poor mattress surfaces. The service at the hotel is consistently commended for its friendliness and efficiency, adding to the enjoyment of both dining and events. Its prime location is a stone's throw from the sea and local amenities, earning high marks for convenience and tranquility. Though some guests find the room prices steep relative to size, the overall value, inclusive breakfast, and thoughtful amenities receive positive recognition.

I booked this Hotel direct with Richard for a 2 night stay over the Bank Holiday weekend for 2 rooms.
Richard was very helpful on the booking, and had it well organised.
Our room was very clean with a extra large bed that was so comfortable. We had an en suite shower room that was clean and modern. Water was very hot, and the towels were brilliant white and soft. Next time i would prefer a room with a bath but that is just personal choice.
Breakfast was included in the price, and on the Saturday evening we ate from the a la carte menu. The food and service was very good.
This is a nice older Hotel that is clean and covid aware.
Richard and the staff are all friendly and polite.
The Restaurant was well run by Violet and her team. Nothing was too much to make our stay enjoyable.
Will definitely return.

Just back from a 3 day Crafting Weekend at this fabulous little hotel, situated close to the seafront, pier and shops. This is such a friendly and welcoming place, with great rooms, wonderful service, and a really good restaurant, which serves excellent food. The staff here really can’t do enough for you, and although it’s been mostly refurbished, it still retains a wonderful ‘period’ feel. My room was really good, modern and fresh, with everything provided. The bathroom was a little ‘tired’, I guess they haven’t got round to refurbishing them yet, but it was spotlessly clean, as was the whole place, with good quality towels, and I like the fact that they provide large bottles of gorgeous smelling hand wash and body wash/shampoo, rather than those pesky little ‘freebies’ which inevitably get thrown away..much more Eco friendly:)
I will certainly be back to stay, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, family run hotel, perfectly situated in Worthing.

I had booked a single room but was upgraded to a double which overlooked Steyne Gardens. The room was large and light with a good view of the gardens and you could see the pier and seafront too.

The bathroom was huge and clean with a shower over a bath.

The weather was cold but the room and bathroom were warm and the heating could be adjusted. The bed was comfy and there was a chair and table by the window and a dressing table which easily doubled up as a desk. The wifi worked well too and was free.

Due to Covid restrictions breakfast was served in the room and guests just filled out a form indicating what they wanted the night before as well as the time they required it. The breakfast was excellent - a great fry up with quality ingredients.

Parking round the square is free between 6pm and 8am. Day permits can be bought from the hotel for £8. The only slight issue was that when I arrived parking was a bit of a challenge - although plenty of spaces became available after the shops closed.

Not a disabled friendly hotel but wasn`t advertised as one. Too many steps for me unfortunately,it was a last minute thing. Little bit nervous as when I booked all my bank card details were taken but when I arrived they had no record of them. Anyway we were kindly shown to a top floor room, it was clean bed was rather soft but we are used to a firmer one by choice. Breakfast was lovely .

Great position on the Steyne. Seconds from beach and town. Lovely staff. COVID precautions good. Beds large and comfortable. Super breakfast served in room due to virus precautions. The fresh fruit salad is a must and the bacon tasty and cooked well (unlike many places I’ve been!). Car parking on the road outside, hotel sells afternoon or full day vouchers (£5 and £8 respectively); otherwise it’s limited to two hours for £3. Road fairly busy so crossing can be tricky. Rooms are comfortable, showers good and towels massive and heavy. however views from the back and side rooms are not good. Stairs and corridors may make it difficult for those with mobility issues. Bar/lounge comfortable, spacious. Nowhere to sit outside. Had dinner in Indigo restaurant attached to hotel. Good food at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be back.

Dear Richard, Simon & team.

We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for hosting our wedding celebrations at your hotel. You went above and beyond anything we expected, tailoring to our every need to make our day as special as the current climate could possibly allow. Some of our guests, who were vulnerable, felt safe and secure because of everything you did for us.

The Venitican room was perfect for our wedding party of 11 guests (including social distancing), your expertise on decorating the room and the order of the day helped us immensely.

Thank you once again team Ardington, you were fantastic.

I stayed for one night recently at the Ardlington Hotel in Worthing and was very pleased with the stay.
On arrival I was checked in efficiently and safely with everything given sanitised.
I had a single room booked and it was cosy but enough room to put bags, a desk for my laptop and was able to work easily.
The WiFi was OK. They have premium upgrades if required. I didn’t bother.
Parking is OK too. I managed to find a spot easily enough and this was on a very busy hot summers day with plenty of tourists. Free parking runs on the street from 6pm to 9am which is good.
It was a very hot night, so my sleep wasn’t great - but the window open meant I got some breeze, but also some noise. Most nights I would expect it to be fine here.
Night reception was good, nothing a trouble and had a drink from the bar. £5 for a pint of Estrella felt reasonable for a captive audience in a seaside resort in peak season.
Breakfast was good. Welcomed by Simon the owner, who spent time conversing as well as proving good service.
Food cooked very well.
I would absolutely return, and the consistent good reviews are well deserved.
Thanks to all the staff for a warm welcome and pleasant stay.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Ardington on several occasions over the last month as this hotel has kindly supported key workers during the pandemic. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with huge comfy beds. The rooms are so clean, tidy and spacious. The WiFi is reliable.

Violeta has been been extremely helpful and efficient at the front desk. Richard very kindly helped to arrange a room for me at very short notice. Nothing has been too much trouble.

The daily breakfast has been superb with the fruit salad a particular favourite of mine.

In truth I am so grateful to The Ardington Hotel and all the hospitality it has provided me with. This has allowed me to continue to work, while also remaining both safe and comfortable.

I would recommend this hotel to all types of visitors for both business and pleasure. I will certainly continue to use this hotel and look forward to returning.

We booked this lovely hotel after the relaxation of restrictions in the UK allowing stays in hotels. We found all the things to do with hygiene they had put in place to be of an excellent standard but also did not interfere with our break.
Our room was a good size with kettle coffee etc, iron/board, wifi, digital tv. Bathroom was huge, shower/in bath was powerful but unpredictable would go cold all of a sudden.
We chose not to have breakfast included as we would of had to of eaten in our room (part of restrictions i believe)which we didn't want to do.
The restaurant attached to the hotel which we did not use, did look poplar as its in the top10 restaurants on trip adviser.
The hotel is a few minutes from the pier and in an excellent position for bars and restaurants. The hotel itself does have a bar/ seating area which is a nice place to sit and watch the world go by
There is parking outside the hotel and the road opposite, you can get passes from reception at a cost of £6.50 per day We went out in our car everyday and did wonder if we would get a space when we returned, we did but in the height of summer may be different.
So overall in our opinion this is a lovely place to stay when in Worthing if on business or just a break away.
Top tip i found if you book this hotel its worth looking at booking direct as their price was better than looking on Trivago.
Worthing is ideally situated for visiting Brighton 20 mins Arundel 20mins Chichester 25 mins

Hope this is of some help

Dear Diana B, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately due to the age of our building we do not have a lift. However we have a ramp which assists guests in going up the two small steps to our bar and also we have ground floor bedrooms available. Please do not hesitate to telephone us for further assitance and answers to any other queries you may have. Kind Regards,
