Stayed for two nights on a trip down for the football, were given room 141. The room was very basic with two single beds that were rock hard and freeview tv with a rubbish signal. Bathroom ceiling was mouldy. A lot of noise through the night, appeared to be a convoy of lorries loading up boxes right outside our window....

Firstly the good points, bed was comfortable, the shower was good, that's it. Now the bad. The fan didn't work in the bathroom, I had to pump the toilet handle to flush. The freeview signal was non-existent. One night we couldn't get any channels. The floorboards were so loud if you went to the bathroom everyone woke up. Although we...

Stayed here last night. Staff are friendly. Beds are comfortable and clean. Rooms are clean but could do with some tlc. After being a rep abroad I don't think this hotel needs to be slated, you get what you pay for and we're happy. We would stay again. Location great for what we needed.

Stayed 2 nights whilst attending concerts at Civic Hall. Paid £130 in total without breakfast which was just as well as the restaurant was closed. This hotel is obviously suffering from chronic underinvestment which is affecting everything from the lack of heating, lack of cleanliness and generally dilapidated state of the decor. The location is also noisy on a Friday...

If you need a cheap stay in Wolverhampton central, and know beforehand that it is rated as terrible, it's not so bad after all! The room was very cold, heating not working. Was told heating was on a timer, just switched on. Rather slow timer, took 3 days NOT to reach my room. Breakfast not English as paid for, but...

£65 per night for a hotel in the city centre (a stones throw from the train and bus station) isn't bad at all so no complaints there but there's not much else to encourage you to book here to be honest. And immediately opposite a Wetherspoons so breakfast is not an issue. Our room was clean, which I always feel...

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights to attend an event at the Civic, it isn't the worst hotel I have stayed at but certainly the second worst. To be fair the worst had been condemned. Grossly overcharging, £100 a night for two of us in a tiny room, bathroom with mould covered walls, grotty, worn and stained...

I phoned the day before my arrival to request a light room with a view as I was attending the funeral of a friend. My room was right at the back with a 'view' of the roof. It was depressing and claustraphobic. The windows were all mouldy. There was no mattress cover on the bed. one pillow. The bathroom was...

Stayed here for one night with a friend to go to a gig at the Civic. We knew what to expect as we had read the reviews and we are not the moaning type so always make the best of any situation! We only paid £30 which was cheaper than a taxi home so that helped! It's close to the...
