Right in the heart of Wallingford. Close to parking, free from 5pm until 10am the next morning. Close to the Thames footpath. Excellent Sunday lunches and nice bar menu choice. Reasonable prices. Lovely Brakspear Beers. Perfect for dog lovers. Pretty beer garden, a sun trap on a lovely day.The lodgings are clean, nicely decorated and plenty of space with en-suite....

A group of 12 of us had a lovely Sunday lunch cooked and served by the new landlords, Josh, Hayley and Dave. Great hosts! To follow up on the Friday night Laura, Adele and Ami gave us a cracking night with their singing. Great success and so lovely to see many old faces present. Carry on the good work!

Last evening my wife and I heard on the grapevine about a musical evening at the Coachmakers Arms Tavern (Cat for short) Wallingford. We hadn't been there for some time so we thought we'd give it a bash. It is now under new management but still has that old world charm and atmosphere about the place...the new owners are delightful...

Stayed here as a base to explore "midsomer" and see where Agatha Christie lived. Room at the top of pub was lovely, comfy bed, large bathroom and very quiet considering it had a full bar of customers! The owners were friendly and welcoming , and the breakfast set us up for a days exploring! Would honestly recommend. Wallingford was a...

Loved our cosy room and comfortable bed in the lovely Wallingford town. David and Sheila were friendly and helpful and gave us suggestions as to where to go around town whilst we visited for a wedding. Delicious breakfast prepared by order (amazing the morning after the wedding!) and pretty beer garden out the back. I left an item in our...

We selected the Coachmakers Arms because we wanted to get out of London and explore the English countryside. We were not disappointed, David and Sheila made us feel at home. The first night we were invited to Quiz night in the pub with the locals. We had a blast, even while only getting about half the questions correct. Our room...

This small pub is located very close to the centre of town, so although it doesn't do evening meals there are plenty of choices within a 5 minute walk. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, and they were happy to let me lock my bicycle up in the beer garden overnight. I was riding the Chiltern's cycleway and although...

After booking through a booking site we have used many times I received a prompt response from the proprietor saying that the price had recently changed and did not include breakfast. The price I paid clearly included breakfast. The proprietor advised there was an additional charge of £30 for breakfast and that I could either cancel, pay the additional charge...
