We stayed in the tack room for 3 nights and have no hesitation in recommending to other people. Joanne and Graham are great hosts with lots of information and very keen to ensure your stay is a memorable one. Great location near to Tavistock and Dartmoor. Hope to visit again when in the area.

We stayed in the 'Wood Shed' in January of this year with our 10 week old son. I had booked last Sept and the owners were aware it would be our first family holiday. The location is idyllic and the owners seemed nice but I was shocked at how filthy the self catering cottage was, it was as though nobody...

Hello Jess I am so sorry about the cobwebs and dust when you visited us and I do wish that you had come up immediately and told me, so that it could have been re-cleaned and not waited 6 months to complain. We have since redecorated the bathroom and bedroom and got a new cleaner. The trouble with old buildings...

Tranquil accommodation on edge of Dartmoor, minutes from Tavistock. Beautiful building and furnishings, very traditional and authentic. Hosts were so welcoming- little touches like providing home-made Devonshire cream tea after a long day on the Moors made the stay extra-special. Breakfast was delicious- great selection of locally sourced produce. Four-poster bed was a delightful sleeping experience! Would highly recommend.

I have stayed at Mount Tavy Cottage on a number of occasions now with my family. My son boards at a local school and we currently live overseas. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mount Tavy Cottage as a first class B&B, also with the added facility to self cater. Graham and Joanne are the perfect hosts and have...

Beautifully refurbished cottage development with self catering and B & B rooms located about a mile out of Tavistock town centre. Jo and Graham were great hosts - very welcoming and friendly. We decided to walk into Tavistock to eat. A short 20 minute stroll. Breakfast was the usual English offerings with good selection of cereals, hot coffee and toast....

Just back from 2 nights staying at Mount Tavy Cottage with friends . The weather was extremely wet and wild but Joanne and Graham made us very welcome in their cosy cottage. As soon as we arrived there was tea and scones by the roaring log fire with advice about the area and where to go for dinner. The food...

We have just returned home after spending two nights at Mount Tavy. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis in the main house and it was a delightful experience. The accommodation was extremely comfortable with a spacious bedroom and a large well appointed bathroom. We had the use of a very comfortable sitting/dining room complete with a welcoming log...

I cannot recommend this B&B enough.....there are many reasons to choose Mount Tavy cottage - the really comfortable accomodation, the acres of beautiful land that the B&B is set in, the very friendly dogs, cats and dogs, the wonderful...

We stayed as a group for a wedding that we were going to nearby and Mount Tavy was the perfect place to stay - great breakfasts, beautiful surroundings, super friendly owners and nothing was too much to ask. Just wish we could've stayed for longer!

We stayed one week in the four poster room which was really lovely. The owners were very kind to us, helpful and gave us good advises for restaurants, etc... Nice breakfast. Good geographic situation (very close to dartmoor parc and tavistock is close to go on foot). Very good quality for the price. Nous sommes restés une semaine dans ce...
