Stayed here with family for 3 nights for my sisters wedding. Accommodation was fab, had large lounge and kitchen , bedrooms were comfortable and clean. The hosts Pauline and Fred were very friendly and made us all feel welcome, breakfast here was lovely with a great choice. Would definatley return if we were ever down that way again.

Returned for a second stay at Waverley. The room we stayed in had been recently refurbished to a very high standard. More like a boutique hotel than B&B. Shower superb. Breakfast - best ever. Thank you Pauline. We will be back...

Having just returned from my son's wedding in Salcombe, we stayed here at the Waverley. It was just wonderful, and accommmdation was superb, We had the self contained flat on the top floor which we shared with family. Everything was superb quality, clean and very very comfortable. The bed was the most comfortable bed we've slept in, and that includes... More

My friend and I stayed in this B&B for 3 nights in July. The B&B is ideally situated in a quite road, just a short walk from the centre of Salcombe. Our room at the top of the house was immaculately clean, very comfortable beds, nicely appointed. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of homemade offerings, the eggs benedict were some... More

My husband and I stayed at the Waverley for 3 nights with friends over the August Bank Holiday weekend. Our basement room was very clean, spacious and comfortable with a huge double bed. The en-suite bathroom was also spotless and the shower was lovely - very powerful and hot. Pauline gave a warm welcome and breakfast each morning was delicious... More

I haven't stayed in many B&B's as I've always been a bit apprehensive about staying in someone's house, however, our stay at Waverley has dispelled my fears. Pauline kindly let us rent a room with our small dog after our camping trip was disrupted by gale force winds. The room was pleasantly decorated with private use of a bathroom opposite.... More

It is still very nice place clean and close to the sea and center. The breakfast was super good everything was prepared on time from Pauline. And there was a great choice of different food. Our room was cosy and nice furnished. We definitely recommend this place.

One night stay, good breakfast, pleasant and easy. You sit with other guests at a large table and it's a real home from home. Everything feels and looks good quality and it's just an easy and pleasant place to stay.

I have been coming to Salcombe since I was a little girl but never stayed with Pauline until this weekend but now I have I wish we had known about her years ago! The accommodation is beautiful - large, well equipped rooms that were spotlessly clean and provided everything (and more) that you could ever need. Pauline was warm, welcoming... More
