Called in here for a night in our Motor home. Looked shabby but we did have a riverside pitch - well no one else there!! That should have been a warning! No discount offered on the quite expensive fee due to the site's showers and loos being frozen! Not even able to re-stock on water!! Alternative toilets offered in the...

My family and I came here for a day out on Wednesday and although we had a lovely time we felt the place could do with a bit of a face lift... Parking was great- no problems at all, close to the arcades and plenty of spaces. Arcades- ok but could do with a bit of an update inside- half...

Great campsite but was disappointed to see so many derelict buildings on the site snd lack of food or shop sales (despite being advertised) - bins continually overflowing which became an eyesore! Very friendly and helpful staff though and well kept green areas and thoroughfares. Great location and easy to find.

I'm a local but it has been 20 years since my last visit and expected to see.......actually I'm not sure what I expected to see....it certainly wasn't this. You are greeted with a tired and dirty board welcoming you, together with pop music playing out of one tinny speaker but loud enough to be heard all over the site. Weeds...

We went recently for a family day out. The website is probably where they have spent the only money. It is grubby outdated dump. The website shows an amusement park which when we asked about it shut down 4 YEARS AGO!!!! The amusement arcade is dirty and half the machines don't work. We popped into the butterfly zoo which was...

This place is a complete dump. It's dirty, scruffy, out of date, and needs demolishing. We only went for a day out. Why in God's name anyone would want to holiday there I can not imagine. The toilets stank there was litter and waste food everywhere. There was an amusement arcade which looked really dated. There was a area which...

We only wanted to stay one night but as its a bank holiday had to book for the whole weekend. Which was fine and understandable, when we were shown where to camp there wasn't enough room for us as, everyone who had got there the day before had their cars in there so we were put right up at the...

There was one toilet block and two showers for the entire campsite! The staff were rude and uninterested and the facilities (symonds yat 'leisure park') made us feel like we were living in a post-apocolyptic nuclear wasteland. It's a shame as the location is lovely and there are great local pubs and views. Won't be returning until some money is...

The staff are a disgrace, ill mannered rude people!!! Worst camp site we have ever visited! It was dirty and dated and a waste of time and money! 15 pound per person to sleep on a car park (which it basically looked like) the staff think they are above themselves because the run a gypsy looking filth ground! Would never...

This is lovely location for a camp site, the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. However, the toilets and shower facilities needs serious attention. Considering the size of the campsite, there were only two ladies toilets, two wash basins and only two showers all of which were worn and dated.

“Handy Hint - Get there early and get a good pitch then you can go off for the day! (i would say if you want a quiet and relaxed night stay on the family side apart from hearing a few childrens I prefer that other potentially group drinking and music).”
