I stayed with Hubbie last week for our wedding Anniversary. Had a lovely greeting at reception showed to our lush room with complementary wine and chocolates. They even would arrange a restaurant booking should we wish. Had a lovely evening and a few drinks in the bar. Breakfast was ok could ask for what we wanted. Fab stay over all.... More

Booked a suite expecting a spacious room with a view, but actually got a shabby lounge area, through to cramped bedroom area, shower with mould and view of the car park. Pictures not at all like booking.com. We were moved to room 2 upstairs which had a pleasant view and felt more comfortable. However walls very thin and all noise... More

Beautiful & spacious bridal suite with lovely views of the large garden and beyond. Good size en suite and original arched windows were stunning and secondary glazed so made a very quiet room. Unfortunately we had to leave early so didn't try the cooked breakfast but the steaks & fish on a stone looked great in the evening, alas we... More

A very nice welcome is always a good start after a hectic day, and that is exactly what I received. Easy check in,shown to my delightful room(solo traveller)with a super kingsize bed (ok two singles shoved together, but zipped and linked!)and a free standing bath actually in the bedroom!! I've written this before my slumber and also before my breakfast,so I... More

Booked a single night's B and B. Arrived and was quickly impressed by the friendly front of house staff. They also impressed when we checked out with the breakfast waitress and chambermaid manning all stations. Anyway, back to our arrival. Taken to our room which was clean and tidy. A nice view of the garden was found beyond the kitchen... More

As it was a family celebration (with the in-laws) it is a nice setting for a party of this type. The gardens are nice and the interior is clean and tidy. The bar prices aren't too bad although I didn't really order much other than a wine and coke. The food was nice although I think they struggled slightly to... More

My best friend had her wedding here, I spent two nights here in preparation for the wedding and the big day itself! I literally can not express how impressed I was with the service, support, effort and kindness that all the staff provided for us. No request was too much for them even when we were cutting flowers out of... More

We booked this hotel after seeing it on the programme 3 in a Bed & looked stunning. We arrived & even though the actual building is gorgeous the outside needs a good tidying up. The inside was really disappointing especially the carpet/ paint work outside of our room but inside the bedroom was really nice. The staff was welcoming &... More
