I was taken to The Old Rectory by my daughter with no knowledge of its fame. We felt immediately at home with a warm welcome from our host on a cold January night. The house is homely and comfortable and we enjoyed the roaring fire in the sitting room untouched by time. We awoke to snow outside which made it...

This charming B&B truly is as magical as described in all the reviews written by other travellers. Let's get the obvious out of the way - Pride and Prejudice (1995) fans rejoice! You will be able to see (and use) the drawing room and of course, the famous closet. While the history of the house is a fascinating one, you...

This is the most amazing and magical place for any devoted fun of BBC's 1995 adaptation of "Pride and Prejudice". Why? Because it is THE ONLY filming location from that renowned adaptation that you can not just visit, but where you can stay. Yes, STAY! In that very room with the infamous closet - Elizabeth's room at Hunsford Parsonage. You...

We just needed some peace and quiet to recharge our batteries This is a wonderful old house with space to breathe and character in every nook and cranny We were able to recharge and were grateful for the lack of T.V Overall a very pleasant stay with very comfortable beds, in a really good location I would definitely recommend

Irrespective of the Old Rectory's associations with Jane Austen, it is a very attractive and historic house closely associated with the nearby architecturally impressive church which can be seen from the garden and rooms. Bedroom comfortable and breakfast most delicious. The landscape round Teigh is some of the grandest in England with its rather un-peopled sweeping open valleys and hills...

My daughter and I are huge fans of the BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice with Colin Dirty and Jennifer Ehle, so we decided we needed to do The Huntsford Patronage which was filmed at The Old Rectory, Teigh, Leicestershire. I had been in touch with the lady who owned it as she now ran it as a B&B- earlier...

We were booked in here by friends who know the owner well. How fortunate we were. It is a fabulous home and Victoria is a relaxed but attentive hostess and we felt very welcome. Our room was very comfortable and well knitted out with all the necessary items, tea, coffee, kettle, bathroom goodies etc. Great shower and warm towels even...

What a lovely place to relax and enjoy the countryside! We came here on a Pride and Prejudice tour and not only was it fabulous to stay where the series was filmed, it was also fabulous to meet Victoria the owner. The food was delicious and the hospitality was equally as good. Nothing was too much trouble and I would...

We stayed the night at this beautiful B&B last week. The Rectory is a stunning, and set in an amazing location. The accommodation is very comfortable & the breakfast good. We were made to feel very welcome and will definitely stay again - in fact, we loved it so much, we recommended it to my parents who are going to...

The Old Rectory in Teigh is a delightful and peaceful spot. Our bedroom was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and well equipped. The period detail in the house, particularly the dining room, makes it a joy to eat breakfast in such lovely surroundings. If you are Jane Austen fan, it's fun to sit in the same sitting room...
