Situated off the sea front, directly opposite the grass area, we joined our two friends for lunch, so a party of five, table was booked. The staff were very efficient and friendly and could not do enough for us. All the food was top rate and delicious, I happened to see a plate of Onion rings go pass us to... More

Lovely meal bar area is great cleaned regularly. Disappointed with the rooms. We upgraded to a Luxury double with sea views and bath. Lovely views yes can't deny that. However the gale that was blowing through the windows all night was horrendous. Tried to have a bath and no hot water. Spoke to one of staff who apologised but the... More

Visited today for a family meal, the dining area was very well laid out, we got a friendly, warm welcome from the staff, we did not pre book but that was not a problem, we were shown to a table immediately. The pub is really nice and dog friendly. We visited a couple of years ago and the food was great, so we made a point of visiting again on Saturday when we were in the area but was very disappointed with the food. The onion rings were greasy and tasteless and the barbecue sauce served with them was like water.... More

I've just got back from a business trip and my wife decided to take me out for a Sunday roast. I was a little surprised when she told me that we'd be eating at !6.30 as the tables had all been booked prior to this. When we arrived it was still busy yet we were seated straight away and drinks... More

I love this place, it's perfect for really good pub food after a walk on the beach with our dog. Completely dog friendly; water bowls and dogs allowed inside too. The menu is very good, just enough choice to give you confidence that they're taking care with each dish. So far we've had the fish and chips; the salmon platter... More

We have been eating at the Queens for about 3 years and originally enjoyed the food here. However in that 3 years the menu has remained the same with only a couple of dishes changing. The biggest change is the portion sizes have got smaller but the prices have increased. Also the chef who i believe is the managers wife,... More

We visit The Queens around 3 times a year, whenever we go the food, staff and ambience are always great. The Cheese & Onion pie is my favourite, the potted shrimps are a close second! We generally take our 2 dogs with us - they're always really welcome. Thank you we love visiting The Queens hotel x
