Popped in for a drink but decided we were peckish. We chose the anti pasti to share and the pork and pistachio terrine. Both were delicious and very generous portions . Smiley, friendly service that was efficient but not obtrusive. Food was so good we shared a dessert- the salted caramel terrine and it was amazing. We went from not...

Danielle, baby Arthur and myself stopped by for two nights for our anniversary in October. It's a long way to travel from Leicester but worth it. The manageress was 100% at the top of her game. She held our baby while taking orders so we could enjoy our fantastic meals together which is a rare thing with a ten month...

Staying to be near a cottage full of family for Christmas. The East End Arms is combination of an unspoilt and genuine English pub with friendly staff and not unfriendly locals, cosy rooms (well appointed with comfortable beds and high quality linen) and a restaurant with a well earned reputation on its own account. A hostelry that is likely unique.

We stayed here a few years ago and always wanted to return for another break having visited for drinks on a few occasions. First night we used the restaurant to eat and were rewarded with above average food in decent portions. In fact, as someone who believes that fish & chips is best served in fish & chip shops I...

We stayed here for two nights in early December to celebrate a special anniversary - we only live a 25 minute drive away but East End is definitely off the beaten track and in a part of the New Forest that is often missed, hidden away along the Solent coast east of Lymington. We had a great time - it's...

We stayed for 2 nights at the East End Arms. Our room was a good size with a really large, comfortable bed. The decor is understated and attractive but I did have a couple of gripes. In common with a number of other places we have visited the room lighting is very subdued, which creates a lovely ambiance but is...

My wife and I stopped over at this superbly located, old inn in the The New Forest on our way home to East Sussex from South Devon. What a find! Our standard double room was well proportioned, very comfortable, with a very large bed and wonderful power shower. The view from our window was very pleasant and the nespresso coffee...

My partner and I came here for lunch whilst on holiday in the New Forest. A friend had recommended it to us and we were not disappointed. My partner had the beef and I had gnocchi. The food was of excellent quality and tasted divine!! The menu is a small menu, but is definitely quality over quantity. They also do...

We are locals and do not usually review places on our doorstep, however after a wonderful evening here I had to. Come and eat and stay here. Fresh beautifully cooked food, brilliant staff with Danielle and Ellie who cannot do enough for you. The Romes are well equipped with huge beds and even an nespresso machine. Great locals bar -...

The food and service at this place is fantastic, way beyond your normal pub grub. We went as a group of nine women for a friend's birthday but it is equally suitable for couples. It was £30 for two courses and wine. We brought our own birthday cake which they cut for us and let us have as dessert. Parking...
