Myself, my wife and in laws stayed for one night on 23rd Dec 2017 and we could not fault it. The premises, bar and rooms were lovely and we were welcomed as warmly as one could ever hope for by the relaxed and friendly team. We had dinner too and were not disappointed, again the affable team set a perfect...

Just returned from an overnight stay at the incredibly cosy Mayflower hotel. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Plenty of parking and only a 10min stroll to the high street. There are some quaint intimate pubs around with roaring log fires to spend hours in front of. Weather was stormy and freezing but we were kindly provided with a small...

My husband, Lottie the pug and I visited after Christmas and it was lovely. The room was gorgeous, the attention to detail couldn't be faulted and we felt very welcome with our pet. Some hotels that say they're dog friendly don't let the dogs into the restaurant area but the staff at The Mayflower couldn't have been more accommodating. We...

We booked to stay at the Mayflower over Christmas on recommendations from friends. The pub is well situation in a quiet location and on arrival we were warmly welcomed and had a lovely meal. Unfortunately we experienced a loud noise from the radiator a few times during the first night which disrupted our sleep. We mentioned this the next morning...

Booked this almost on a whim to have a night away in the New Forest before Christmas. On arrival we were welcomed and shown to a well appointed room, lovely decoration. No bath, but a great shower, kettle with a range of teas and a Nespresso style coffee maker. Towels and robes are provided and very nice. On a wet...

Friendly, clean, lovely bedrooms lots of hot water, big soft towels and dressing gowns. They gave us fresh milk on arrival and left fresh milk outside the bedroom door in the morning, coffee machine. We only stayed one night but will return next time we are visiting the area. Large choice of cooked breakfast or continental breakfast included

Gavin and Blair's room philosophy is that they provide rooms they would like to stay in and boy they have high standards from the great coffee machines to fresh milk in a dinky bottle being delivered to your room each morning, an amazing bathroom (room 4), gowns and the comfiest bed I've slept in for a long time. Our group...
