A very quiet location, clean and welcoming reception. Harvester restaurant across the road and tesco in very close proximity. Plenty of local attractions nearby. Comfortable kingsize bed. Very good value for money. I would recommend this accommodation for business or leisure.

Visited last month for one night, attendant on reception was very friendly, polite and welcoming. Room was to a good standard. Rather unfortunate that the walls in the bathroom aren't thicker, could hear a toilet flush a mile away! But other than that a pleasant experience for first time travelodgers! We would definitely consider staying at a travelodge again :)

I can thoroughly recommend this hotel. The staff are welcoming and helpful especially Steven. The rooms are on the small side but provide everything you need and always cleaned to a very high standard. Parking is on site which is an added bonus. There is a restaurant opposite which serves good food especially the very good value breakfast.

We arrived tired and late to the lodge, unfortunately our parents double room had been double booked. They then had to travel a couple of miles to the other hotel, after a long day already. Other hotel was out the way and didn't have any Mobile phone signal for us to contact them.

Staff very friendly, moved us to another room: to a quieter part of the hotel without being asked as he saw we had a young baby with us, no breakfast facility but the Harvester do a very reasonable (around £4) for a cooked breakfast.

We used to stay here when visiting family in the area, but had recently been staying at the Premier Inn across the road. Decided to give this another go as the prices were cheaper than Premier and it was only for one night. When we arrived at 3.30 to check in, there was no one on reception, we pressed the...
