Read all the reviews - know about this chain of hotels from friends and family and local media. I needed a room - had very little money - so booked and went prepared. Yes - the bedding was as bad as I expected - so it's a good job I took my own. Once the bed was made with my...

No messing about, there was a poo stain on my towel. Couldn't tell what the pillow stain was or if the old, tatty duvet was clean. At least it was warm, had it not been I would genuinely have considered sleeping in my car. Big party along the hall till the small hours, sounded like fun.

Arrived to find out the entrance was up an alley way and mental staircase got to the room to find stains all over the walls, bed linen and carpets. Towels were frayed and...

Hotel should be great - but is not. Shared bathroom, all grubby feeling including beds. No tea bags (owner apparently doesn't believe in them). They also don't replace TVs remotes - only little things but clearly no attention detail. However, I did only pay £19 for one night! Was it worth it? NO!!!
