Stayed at The Sandcastle on and off from October to December whilst working in Lowestoft and it is an excellent bed and breakfast! The place is spotlessly clean, with tea and coffee making facilities,TV in the room and room 4 has a large bathroom with a rain forest shower and a big roll over bath! Tony and Susie are friendly and...

Pretty French themed B&B with friendly hosts. Lovely room with sea view and large walk in shower room. Great breakfast with plenty of choice and home made preserves. Nearby access to plenty of eating places and convenient to town centre and railway station. Good to be able to visit other resorts easily by train such as Oulton Broad and Beccles...

The potted plants at the front leave the visitor in no doubt that the hosts care about detail and welcome! Everything is welcoming and clean, and rooms with a sea view do have a great view! One room only is not exactly en-suite, it has a dedicated but small shower/wc for it's occupant's sole use up half a flight of...

The place is lovely from the outside, well kept flower pots. We were greeted and shown to our room, the guy insisted we both looked at the shower together to be told how it worked, he said that they had wifi, but I could only get it in the basement. They kept checking the connection, there was enough signal to...

Had a lovely overnight stay here. Very welcoming owners, polite and friendly. There's free parking out the front, on the wide one way road parallel to the sea front. The house is in a great location overlooking the sea and in walking distance of bars/pubs and other seaside amenities. We had a lovely little room with an en suite wet...

The B&B is among a few other seafront hotels but looks lovely and well kept from the outside and inside is sweeter still, charmingly decorated rooms with an awesome view over the beach. Lovely big bay window, and the only hotel I've ever been in that offers two types of tea and both instant and freshly ground coffee in the...

We have just returned from enjoying a lovely one night stay at The Sandcastle. We were met with a friendly welcome and shown to our room and how the facility's worked. Our breakfast order was asked as well. Very comfortable beds, lovely decor. Breakfast was delicious, local Suffolk pork products, homemade bread rolls and amazing homemade marmalade. We enjoyed the...

I went to Lowestoft on business for the first time and thought I would try a B&B for a change from a big hotel. I booked the sandcastle for one night just in case it wasn't so good, you never know ! Well how pleasantly surprised was I. A lovely greeting and shown to my room. The whole place was...

We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome and shown how everything works. Little touches like a bottle of mineral water and fluffy towels make you feel genuinely looked after. The breakfast was amazing and was the icing on the cake! Best nights sleep in ages, Thanks so much!
