Reception was friendly and hotel easy to find and we'll placed for the University. We had a twin room which was a nice size. The room was clean and tidy with some early signs of tiredness. At the price though I thought it was very good value. Breakfast was nice too. Took 10 minutes to get across the town to...

Stayed here one night. Due to a family visit. Booked two rooms as we were travelling with my parents. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Drinks at the bar were reasonably priced and breakfast in the morning was lovely and there was a good choice. We also found that steam trains were running past at the bottom of the...

20 of us booked in here for 1 night stop over on a Charity cycle event. The staff were very helpful and accommodating of our additional needs putting the bikes in a secure conservatory and lent me an additional phone charger. Rate was reasonable and breakfast was good.

We booked this hotel for its location as we had a funeral to go to. The hotel had average reviews and look good. We had a large room double bed also there was a single bed room 7. The room was ok, could do with refurbishing the en-suite shower room showed large signs of damp as there was large black...

Room quality was good and original. However, I fully regret the tip at the reception. When I checked out, the man at the reception uses a calculator to tell me what should I pay as balance. According to me, it should be automatic from the computer. This makes the hotel dircetly non-professional, and I suddenly thought that th emoney I...

The Cedars is not the most modern or glitzy hotel but our room was freshly decorated, with comfortable twin beds. The bar area looked a pleasant place to sit but there was a large family party on so we walked into Loughborough a found an amazing Indian meal. Breakfast was good - plenty of choice and friendly waitress. I'd stay...

We chose to stay at the hotel after attending a wedding there this weekend, and we had absolutely no issues with it. Check in was easy and the room itself for the amount we paid was great. A nice comfortable bed and a nice bathroom just a couple of plus points. The room was a little dated and warn in...

This hotel could do with a bit of tarting up. It's all a bit run down and old fashioned and very basic but the main thing is, the room was clean. We only needed a bed for the night as we were at a wedding elsewhere. Slightly annoyed as paid for early check in and with the hotel being practically...

A very pleasant stay at a , nice friendly hotel on the outskirts of Loughborough. Easy access, and right on the Great Central Railway line a great place to visit , and see some steam , diesel locomotives and rolling stock from days gone by. The hotel had a bar , tv area and restaurant. My room was a fair...
