Lovely hotel, friendly and attentive staff (and that includes the security and cleaners too). Rooms were lovely, clean and quiet, and the breakfast was delicious. Plenty of parking spaces, including electric charging points too.
We spent 4 nights over Christmas as my missus has family in the area and it was the only way we could do it as I have an 4 month old puppy. The room was ideal for the dog as it opened up onto a quiet courtyard which lead to the grounds. The staff were attentive and helpful and I cannot the fault the food served in the bar/restaurant. We walked into Quorn a few times which was around a mile or so away. Would definitely stay here again.
Generally, we had a very comfortable stay. The room was lovely with a great view. The shower was pretty lame but the other facilities ok. The bed is very comfortable. We ordered a few bits from the bar which were fresh and very lovely. No complaints. Parts of the hotel could do with a bit of a make over. Reception staff were lovely and particularly helpful. Breakfast was ok, the potatoes were back and brown. Unsure why. There appears to be a general lack of concern in regards to staff uniform. We were addressed by young members of staff in very short skirts and severely laddered tights. This sets - unprofessional standard, this was met by the young waitress constantly fixing her hair? Being on her phone and not tending to the guests needs. Great potential. Poor execution. No attention to detail.…
6 of us attended Afternoon Tea, and wow what an amazing experience, I cannot fault anything and all of the party enjoyed the afternoon, staff were very attentive and would definitely be attending again, very helpful and accommodating for disabled customers. Highly highly recommend thank you all!!
Our second time at the Quorn Grange. This year was more hectic than last but good to see they are getting bookings again. I think the beds are extremely comfortable and even though the pillows are thin, it's fine if using two. The room and bathroom are good although could do with a couple of bedside lamps as there is only the main light in the bedroom which is rather bright. I think someone else mentioned the room not being made up during their stay, ours wasnt either during our 3 night stay. I did go to reception and ask for clean towels and a refill of coffee and milk which was brought up after a short wait. We had breakfast here one day which was a bit hectic. The eggs ran out and by the time we waited for them to be replenished we had eaten the rest of our food. Coffee from the machine was good. Waited a while for toast, which when it finally came, was like floppy warm bread. All in all Quorn Grange is a nice looking hotel with lovely gardens and surrounding countryside. It's a good base for walking into the village or driving to one of the other nearby villages. Had no problems with any of the staff, the ones we came into contact with were pleasant and helpful. We will almost certainly stay here again if visiting Quorn.…
