We found the hotel rather tired - carpets stained and walls needing painting. Having said that there does appear to be renovation work going on.

The room was quite big and we were the only party in so it lacked atmosphere. The tea was nicely presented lovely cakes. Sandwiches were a bit dry and a nice tea set would have set it off nicely rather than metal tea type jugs...More

Stayed here a few times now, after trying numerous hotels in the Loughborough area. Beautiful building, in lovely grounds, and it's nice to be able to take a walk and enjoy the open space and gardens.
