Stayed here on an overnight stop on the way back from the Highlands. Just off the motorway but right in the country. Lovely B&B - lots of little home comforts and touches of décor make this really special. Comfortable beds, great facilities, lovely breakfast. Owner helpful and really friendly. Also had a look round the self-catering cottage which is beautiful.

Stayed with a friend for 2 separate nights on way to holiday destination. Twin room beautifully presented using "Kath Kidston" style decor. Clean, well equipped room with WIFI. Hearty breakfast cooked and personally served by Amanda both mornings, set us up for the long journey back to mid Wales. Highly recommend. Will be back again.

Needed a place to stay on my way home to England from Glasgow, and this was certainly a very good choice. Very quiet, clean, friendly and rural. Everything that was required was in the room-from shower gel to wine glasses! I really enjoyed the filling full breakfast next morning and will definitely stay here again on my next visit. Excellent!

Have just spent two nights in the bungalow in a quiet and idyllic place. The bungalow(and B & B) location for a trip to Carlisle or onward in to Scotland. We would use again and definitely recommended.

Right folks, this is the place to stay whether to explore the mystical Solway Firth or a stop off on a long journey to or from the Highlands of Scotland. For me the plan was to stop off on the road north after the lousy M5 and M6, with all the lousy hold ups. Just off junction 21on the M74...

We booked the separate bungalow accommodation for 5. This accommodation was clean and comfortable and good value. As it has a kitchen, there is no breakfast unless you bring it yourself. We arrived late in the day after a long drive and could only focus on getting some dinner. Our host recommended the Station Inn which was terrific. Although this...

Having stayed before, it becomes easy to locate off the A74M, just a short drive up from Gretna Green. The rooms are comfortable, the location is very quite, and the breakfast sets you up for the day! Very pleasant and amicable hosts all contribute to an enjoyable overnight stay, ready for whatever one has planned for the following day.
