The owners here are very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation itself is very very dated, if you want a trip down memory lane then this is the place for you. Lots of 1970s decor, frills and flowery wallpaper. The room was comfy enough and it had free wi-fi but the worlds smallest TV! Breakfast was adequate. My main criticism is...

We stayed here for one night (3 people, two rooms). Our main reason for choosing the Laburnum was because they are happy to take dogs and are reasonably near the airport. Very nice, clean 70s style house. Rooms were a little small, but I suppose average for this type oft B & B, however room was clean and beds were...

We attended a wedding at Style last weekend and chose to stay for 2 nights at Laburnum Cottage. A very warm welcome from Stephanie, David, their 4 year old son, Ronnie and the cat. We were in room 1 - clean and comfortable, but rather cramped for space. Breakfasts were good and the 3 course dinner was excellent. We live...

I go to Knutsford every year in June/July and it is a pleasure to spend some weeks at Laburnum Cottage with two very special owners. I usually stay in the upstairs room in the annex with a private entrance; both rooms in the annex are large, clean, and confortable with all conveniences; but I am sure also the other rooms...

We stayed four nights whilst visiting family in the area and were very pleased we'd chosen this excellent establishment (on the basis of its very convenient location and the positive TripAdvisor reviews). Our room (3) was small but pleasant and clean, overlooking the large garden. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space, a modern wall-mounted...

We stopped off at Laburnum Cottage en-route to the North East from the South West and stayed for just one night. We arranged Dinner in advance and arrived late, tired and looking forward to putting the nightmare journey of M5/M6 behind us (tip - don't do this journey on a Friday during daylight hours). What a pleasure this place is,...

We stayed for just one night, unfortunately, prior to flying to Italy. We had a warm welcome from David and shown to a smallish but very clean and well-appointed room. After a little relaxation we went down to enjoy a great meal cooked by David. As I am a vegetarian I do appreciate it when some care has been given...

We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting Manchester. It's in a good position and the breakfast is very substantial. We were staying in the annex (a little cottage over the other side of the driveway), which had loads of space and a separate en suite downstairs, we really enjoyed the evening in! Since it was hot, we wanted the...

I stayed at Laburnum Cottage to attend a family party nearby - I booked purely for the location, but the standard was so much higher than your average B&B. We were made to feel so welcome, both Stephanie & her husband were really helpful & even drove us to our party. The breakfast was fab, after we met the hen...
