I stayed overnight on a recent business trip, It was a late check in and I was glad to finally arrive. The guest house is full of character, a mix of book cases and narrow corridors. My room was fairly standard, a single bed and a basic bathroom but it was clean, quiet and I had a restful sleep. It...

Excellent value Bed and Breakfast style accommodation located on a quiet road near the town centre of Lerwick, with free parking onsite. My single room was well equipped with a large ensuite bathroom, wi-fi, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. I requested an iron and ironing board and this was brought to me immediately. I would agree with a previous reviewer...

Thank you for the excellent review. Our building is Edwardian, and and we try to bring the old fashioned charm to life as we cater to our guests. The owner selects fresh fruit each morning for breakfast. We appreciate your choice to stay with us and we do our best to make everyone welcome and want to visit again in...

A colleague and I stayed here for a few nights while working in the area. The room was very clean and well kept and the bathroom had a bath which I would have made use of if I'd had time. There must have been a memory foam mattress on the bed as it was so comfortable and the bed sheets...

Thank you for you for the good review. We do provide memory foam mattresses and the combined factor of them with the clean sea air and the quiet neighbourhood do seem to be very conducive for a good nights sleep. My mum and I arrived in Lerwick on the overnight ferry from Aberdeen, and the hotel kindly made sure that they had a room available for us for early check-in. The room itself was quite warm, but with the window cracked we were comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with giving recommendations for things to do, see, and...

Stayed for 2 nights in September. Impressive looking guest house from outside, looks more like a hotel. Our room was on the top floor and although quite small It had everything we needed (TV, tea/coffee facilities) and was comfortable. Iron board etc could be requested if needed. Had a nice view of the sea from the window but unfortunately the...

Thank you for your review. We are pleased that you choose to stay with us during your visit. Our building is a converted Edwardian convent and many people find the old fashioned décor appealing. This guest house is located at good spot in Lerwick. It's 10 minutes walk to the city center and harbor. The room is well equipped and sleeping comfort is good. Depending on the sunshine the rooms can get very warm. The bathroom is well equipped and accessible for disabled. Good thai food is served for dinner on reservation.

For prices and location, perfect. Just out the back of the main town. I Good Thai grub as well. Comfortable rooms. Gives a small hotel aura and ideal for family or couples. Limit the Singha beer though! Hangover city! 😂
