Originally we were going to stay at the Longhouse for a quiet, romantic Christmas away from family. We achieved that, and it also turned into a 'baby moon' when I discovered after booking that I would be expecting later in the new year.
wonderfull longhouse. warm, cosy and ideally situated. the resident peacocks seem to multiply each day and bring a reality to the location. a walk in the grounds is good and the graveyard and witches maze shows the age and history. highly recommended.
