My wife and I booked a two day stay at the Premier Inn in Hinckley on the 3rd & 4th December 2022. I was working away, so I was meeting my wife there later in the day. On arrival in the afternoon my wife found the booked room stank of cigarette smoke. She brought this to the attention of the receptionist who agreed that it was awful, and this should have been picked up by the hotel cleaners. He went on to say that customers put socks over the smoke alarms so they can smoke in the rooms which is a regular occurrence. He said it would take approximately an hour to clean the room with a machine they had to rid the room of the cigarette smell. My wife agreed to wait to see if this worked; unfortunately it didn't. As there were no replacement rooms, due to the hotel being fully booked, my wife reluctantly accepted a refund. This experience ruined a long planned catch up with life long friends who we hadn't seen for a while as we live in Blackpool. When we returned home we sent an email to the Premier Inn Customer Service via their website on the 9th December 2022, that was over 5 weeks ago and we haven't received a response. Very poor customer service all around.…

We stayed a few nights at Hinckley, the staff were so obliging couldn’t do enough. We had their meal deal, evening meal and breakfast the next day, everything was excellent, service exceptional and food good quality and value for money. Definitely be visiting again great value.

Great stay here! Great breakfast, free parking and very comfy beds. Karen was lovely and very helpful. We got a very warm welcome as we arrived at reception. Highly recommend coming here! Happy girls in Hinckley!

The staff were so lovely, especially Karen the receptionist, she was so welcoming and helped us out with whatever we needed! The beds were so comfy and we had their breakfast which was fab. Highly recommend!

The rooms was warm, but greatfully because it was cold outside. Reception greeted us with a smile and a warm welcome and the room was the usual high standard of cleanliness. Will be back in July for sons wedding

New years visit with my friends in Hinckley we had a meal at Marina and it was very good. The hotel It’s self has good loads of free parking and the staff and rooms are really good . Would return soon
