Stayed at this hotel on Saturday for a function in the same place, paid for an upgrade that included breakfast. The room was nice but very small and I don't know what the upgrade could be!! Breakfast turned out to be continental but we could have full English for £7.95 per head which I think was extortionate! Very pricey and...

Thank you for your review. I am sorry you felt you paid for an upgrade which included breakfast and we will investigate this as we do not offer this service unless arranged directly with reception. Our room prices include a continental breakfast which provides a wide choice and is very filling. We do charge supplements for the cooked breakfasts and...

My wife and I stayed at the Tower House from Monday 26 to Thursday 28 December in a double room 6, which is rather small and has no chairs. The first two nights were very pleasant but the last night was not of a standard we were prepared to accept. It was during the very cold weather after Christmas and...

Good things first reception welcome was great and outside of the hotel looks inviting Rooms was nice buts needs updating as do the carpets in the hallways very dirty and smell a little so when you pay £80 per night you expect cleanliness Breakfast was an extra payment unless you had the continental again for the £80 a hot meal...

Thank you for your review and your feedback has been duly noted and improvements have been made to the carpets. I am sorry you felt that Breakfast should be included in the price, however the continental breakfast is and this includes, cereals, cheeses, toast, meat, juice and coffee/tea. The cooked breakfast is an extra supplement and this is detailed in...

We celebrated our wedding which included the ceremony itself along with the day and evening reception at the tower house on New Year's Eve 2016 and we couldn't have been more pleased with the venue and the staff! Mark the new owner could not do enough for us and him and the team made sure every request was met. The...

We stayed for 3 nights in December. The room we had, number 6, was small - too small for even one chair - but it was ok. We had requested soya milk and the receptionist assured us that there would be some in the restaurant in the morning. When we got there, the chef said it had all gone. So...

Thank you so much for your review of the Tower House Hotel. I am sorry that the Soya Milk had been taken prior to your arrival at breakfast. We endeavour to cater for everyones needs and on this occasion guest consumption led to this being used up. The room issues you experiences have been addressed with the staff concerned and...

Had my youngest daughters evening reception here. Everything was brilliant, disco and food was included in the price. Hot meat sandwiches and potato wedges were served and everyone loved them. We provided room decorations and the staff set the room up beautifully. Some members of the family stayed overnight and said the rooms were very comfortable and they enjoyed breakfast....

We were invited with numerous other friends and family to a friends 49th celebration of their 21st birthday. It was a good job we had a taxi I don't think we would have found it easy and probably needed a 'Hummer' as it was located typically as a lot of Halifax is via incredibly steep hills and valleys. The venue...

Lovely hotel - it looks as though it would be a wonderful place for a wedding. The people on the desk were friendly and so were the people at breakfast. Continental breakfast was included in the price and if you wanted a cooked breakfast this was extra. There was only one thing - I booked two rooms and when I...

Although we did not use the Tower House as a venue for our wedding we did book the bridal suite for a night. Thank you for your kind review. Firstly may I apologise that you found reception unmanned, and for the lack of stationery in your room! If you do want to come and visit us again, I promise that we will reimburse you for the eyeliner, and that a pen will be provided on reception in future! Thanks again, Beth
