A lovely down to earth campsite free of cars (parking is available off the camp area) and caravans. The site is well run, clean and quiet, although don't camp right next to the stream if you wake easily as you will hear the running water. It's particularly pretty, placed at the bottom of a small valley with a forest across... More

Had a great 4 night stay recently with our 2 young children (4+1). Apart from the short trek down the hill to the site ( no cars allowed - it's 100 metres downhill hill from car park to camping) everything was perfect. A well tended field, yet still feeling 'wild', a running stream with plenty of paddling opportunities, stepping stones,... More

I've so many memories of 'Jerry Farm'. Around 40 years ago was my first visit (I grew up in the area). My last visit was 20 years ago, whilst courting my wife. Whilst it is not what I would call a wild camping site (no fires, fire trays might be a good idea), it's a simple site and very much... More

Spent a day and night at Jerusalem farm, excellent wild camping feel. Tents are pitched in a well maintained field by the stream separating the woodland. Adventure playground in the woods and a small hike up through the woodland to and across the fields to the local inn. Little gem on our doorstep. The field is set in a valley... More

After coming here as a child I found myself bringing my own children here and they love it , campsite is very clean and a superb location only downside is walking all the way down the hill with your camping gear then a long way backup when it's time to leave but the stay is very enjoyable and at a... we have just enjoyed a four night stay here, idyllic little campsite in a lovely setting, It is run by the local council, the warden and assistant are both friendly and helpful, and the site has basic facilities, but they are generally clean and well kept. You do have to carry all your gear from the car park down to... More

We just got home from a two night stay at probably the best campsite we've ever been too. What a gem :) A beautiful place that is impeccably kept, a really friendly accommodating warden and lovely family friendly walks around the surrounding forrest/river area. You do have to carry your stuff from the car park to the camping areas, but... More

I've been going to Jerusalem Farm all my life; it's one of my favourite places. I've camped there many times. Got to be one of the prettiest areas in Yorkshire. There are draw backs. It's a steep climb up to the toilets and showers. But, it's just gorgeous.
