Stayed here this weekend in a group of 3 friends, the hotel didn't even ask who I was just gave me a key to a room. They wasn't exactly the happiest of people not very welcoming. They didn't even shed a smile! The hotel offers "free parking" don't be fooled they just expect you to dump your car anywhere around...

Booked a single room for £25. It was at the top of the hotel so the owner kindly put me in the family room with four beds to myself on the ground floor. The room was warm and there were things to make tea and coffee. The bathroom was old but clean and the shower worked. The floor and bedding...

A group of 9. Friendly and helpful staff, but the place needs a lot of work. Between us we had little heating, dirty sheets, dirty mattresses, filthy carpets, stale bedding and very few (in one room none!) working lightbulbs. Several of the party slept fully clothed on top of the beds as the sheets smelled and looked dirty. Shower trays...

Fawlty Towers is very conveniently located within walking distance of all the places of interest to tourists. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Every morning we were provided with a generous breakfast.

Awful room, breakfast was awful half only was cooked fully napkin full of hairs black bits floating in the milk jug and the tea was too strong from the pot, musty smell as soon as you walk through the front door, scruffy looking staff, only one good thing was free car park.

They have got bed bugs. Me and my husband, have bites. Looked at night with touches to find little disgusting bugs in a stained mattress. We were horrified. We wanted to leave in the middle of the night but could not as we had two younger kids fast asleep. We had the night from hell. The room and bathroom was...

A very friendly and comfortable stay breakfast was excellent. The place itself is in need of some tlc in the decoration department ,but for the price it's ok. Rooms were clean and comfortable and you can see where they are updating. It has a great location for shops and beach.

Unfortunately my friend booked this one without checking any reviews. If this isn't the worst place in Britain I would hate to see what is. The whole place absolutely reeked of cooking fat to the point of suffocation- I am not exaggerating. It was filthy and stains were on the carpet, walls, ceiling and bedding. The decor was dated and...
