Terribly overpriced, you can have a better 4-star hotel for less money. Photo's and description on the website make it look much better than reality. The owner made a scene because we asked a better room (that was vacant) at a higher price. Breakfast was OK.

We try to ensure that all our guests enjoy their stay at Dunallan. However we rely on guests to behave within boundaries and to respect us and our other guests. In this case, the guests arrived very late at night, and brought a large, aggressive, untrained dog which was left alone in the room at breakfast, barking loudly. All our...

We stayed at the Dunallan House for three nights and had a great time. We stayed in room number 7 on the top floor. The room was very comfortable and had plenty of space for suitcases. The bathroom next door was excellent with a large bathtub and a shower with great water pressure! The B&B was in a great location...

Great stay in this lovely house. Lovely large bedroom with balcony looking over to hills. Peaceful location but central for local amenities. Good breakfast selection cooked fresh to order. Very friendly and welcoming hosts.

Had a lovely few days staying at Dunallan House B and B in Grantown-on-Spey. We were made to feel very welcome by Steve and Ginny and couldn't have asked for more accommodating hosts. The house is imposing with beautifully proportioned public rooms, eg large comfy guest lounge, and breakfast room. Our room was at the top of the house, with...

A very comfortable stay and we were very well looked after by Steve and Ginny who have achieved a lot in a few weeks and it would be easy to think they had being doing this for much longer. As the photos show, this is nice old house with a modern extension. We were in Room 1 which is very...

This is a beautiful establishment with all of the amenities. Steve and Ginny were great hosts. Steve was full of good advice about things to do in the area and had lots of great stories about Scotland. John and Lori

Fantastic B&B in Grantown, a great Speyside town with fine woods. Dunallen is a beautiful house and ours was a gorgeous room with a comfy bed on a quiet street and a very short walk from a good pub with very good pies. Very nice bathroom. Excellent breakfast (of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, of course!) and the craic with...

As the very last guests, we were treated to Room No. 1, the family room, so spacious and comfortable with a useful sitting area and good views. Breakfast was served promptly by our friendly hostess, Jayne, with enjoyable vegetarian options. The B and B is dog friendly but we were slightly disappointed by the £12 charge.

Dear Sandra , a huge thanks to you & also all the many, many other guests that have taken time over the last 10 years to leave reviews of their visit to our family home, Dunallan House. It is with very mixed feelings that I am moving on to new horizons. It has been a lovely chapter of my life...

This is lovely B&B in a beautiful house with very welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts. The room was very comfortable and breakfast excellent with home-made bread. It's a good location for exploring the area, but Grantown-on-Spey itself is a beautiful village with lovely walks and an excellent bookshop.
