William Marshall runs a very nice B&B just outside of Grantown-On-Spey, the capital of the Speyside area. The rooms are clean and comfortable with good beds. He offers you a drink in the drawing room before dinner, which is cooked by his wife. He's a little bit of a Type-A personality (check out by 10:15 please), but does a good...

We stay here regularly on our way north as the rooms are excellent, comfortable and always kept in tip top condition. For a small hotel run by the couple who own it, the rooms are far better than many bigger, more expensive hotels we have stayed in. The food is well cooked and portions more than adequate, the ingredients are...

Our room, Craigevar, was very nice and well appointed with a good bathroom. The food was good quality home cooking but if you are looking for better than that you may wish to look elsewhere. Taking into account other places we stayed in Scotland we felt that Culdearn was expensive for what it was.

Sonia met us on our arrival and helped us park safely - as Americans it was quite a challenge in the narrow driveway left handed. She clearly runs a tidy home as the house was spotless. Sonia also cooked all the meals - we had breakfast and dinner twice including a good wine selection and a couple local whisky samples...

We spent two nights at this property while traveling with another couple. Sonia and William were wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure our experiences in the area were the memories of a lifetime. Culdearn House is a gracious and well appointed bed and breakfast. Our room and bath were spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable and up to date....

Booked this "Hotel" via a last Minute Website and was glad to get somewhere to stay when most other places where full. It is certainly a lovely House and my room was fine but sadly the Hosts were most unfriendly, so much so that I felt compelled to post this up on Trip Advisor. I do not understand how such...

We spent two nights at the Culdearn House Hotel on a driving trip around Scotland. Excellent welcome from the hosts, a well-appointed and luxurious room. It had a shower rather than bath and when they saw how tall my husband was we were offered a change to a room with a slightly larger shower, which was considerate. We hadn't originally...

My husband and I spent one night at Culdearn House. Our hosts, William and Sonia were lovely: helpful and very pleasant. Our room was beautiful. Spotless and very large, the king-size bed was extremely comfortable with gorgeous linens. The bathroom was huge and spotless. The Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries provided a nice touch. Dinner was truly delicious. We appreciated the...

Culdearn House was our first stop in Scotland. What a warm welcome to Scotland it was!! The rooms were excellent. The dinner was fabulous. It really felt like our home for a few days. In addition, our hosts did the utmost to give us tips of nice day-trips we could do. They are very knowledgeable of the area and its...
