Old world charm at the newly restored The Craiglynne Hotel. Our Victorian granite hotel, situated under the majestic Cairngorms, has just been restored and refurbished to the highest standards. With 82 stylish rooms and superb grounds, relaxing here during your stay is irresistible; however we also highly recommend visiting the beautiful villages, mountains, rivers and forests nearby. After a day exploring, there's nothing better than sinking into an armchair by one of our roaring log fires to share stories of Lochness, Inverness and the hugely popular whisky trail. When you are looking for hotels in Grantown-on-Spey, near Aviemore, stay with us and be one of the first to enjoy our restored hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights . Booked through Glenton coach holidays. Hotel was lovely. All staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. Food was out of this world, absolutely delicious , offering a great choice. Only real problem i had was room was very warm due to weather condition which was very warm. Air conditioning or fan in the room would have made our holiday complete, apart from that hotel was great, No entertainment in the hotel during our stay, however this could have been something to do with the Covid situation. would definitely return to this Hotel .

My girlfriend, our 2 dogs and I stayed for a night on our way back home. Lovely place! Interior looks like these fancy Victorian-style hotels, staff is super polite and attentive. Great breakfast & dinner and a lovely bar with outside sitting area. Would have stayed longer weren't it for work! P.S.: Great for dogs as there's a beautiful forrest walking area right in front of the hotel!

We made a stop for lunch and had soup, sandwiches and a burger. the food was absolutely awful, watered down soup, rock hard reheated in the microwave burgers and not cheap. Even the bread rolls were dried out an inedible, it’s hard to do the basic so wrong but they managed it. Avoid at all costs

Spotless and clean room with a large comfortable bed. Being pet friendly was a bonus, my dog loved the garden area. The staff are all super friendly and accommodating, thank you all for a wonderful stay. We particularly enjoyed our dinner, the steaks were cooked to perfection! We had a very relaxing and peaceful short break. Grantown on Spey is a very friendly interesting area. We highly recommend going.
