I didnt stay here. So this stars is intended for the FOOD. I had a cup of cappuccino and a sticky toffee pudding which were not 'wow' for a place like this. Felt a bit meh.. had a very dry salmon and chips, a bowl of salad even my kids who is a salad freak refused to eat. Tasted an...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

This hotel was fantastic pretty much in every way. The room was spacious, clean, and nicely furnished, and the views are pretty impressive as well. My partner and I booked a room for 3 nights, which included breakfast as well as a three course meal on two of the evenings, and cream tea thrown in for good measure. Every meal...

My husband and I were here for one night DB&B, through a competition we had won. We were delighted we could stay with our dog in one of the suites in the old stable block, which are dog friendly. The room we well appointed, with a sitting room, bedroom (with super king bed) and separate bathroom. We were told there...

My wife and I visited the hotel for the Easter break and we're sad to say it was a massive let down. Hugely under staffed with no sign of management for the 4 nights we stayed. The food was good and some of the staff were excellent (barmen stood out) but overall it was a poor experience and I couldn't...

My wife and I received a gift of Two nights dinner bed and Breakfast from our friends for my birthday. The Hotel was refurbished two years ago by the new owners and the transformation has resulted in a beautiful country house the fabric and décor of which is five star. Some staff were new and still learning the ropes but...

We stayed 5 nights over easter. This was our first holiday since our daughter was born, and the hotel was wonderful in accommodating our needs and baby led timetables (i.e. having dinner before restaurant is formally open at night). We stayed in the Benromach room and it was very comfortable and luxurious. Being an old house that was recently renovated,...

What a shame. This is a hotel we regularly visit on our many trips to the Spey Valley. Afternoon teas and evening drinks can be enjoyed in the sumptuous surroundings. Sadly tonight the experience was so disappointing. We arrived having driven from Nethybridge just seeking some quick evening drinks in one of the lounges. We were somewhat taken aback when...

Thought Andersons was the best restaurant in the area. May have to revise that following our visit to Muckrach for lunch. Idyllic setting and views, beautiful building, extremely tastefully furnished and decorated. Dining conservatory delightful. Nice menu, very competitively priced (£13.95 for two courses, £18.95 for three). Nice people too.
