We had probably the smallest room, with a (private) bathroom, but across the hall. Internet down, TV did not work. Bed was too short and wide for 2. Owner is friendly. Breakfast ok, but could be better if the scrambled eggs would have been prepared when we ordered them. They were moist, which means they were made upfront and kept...

We stayed for 3 nights at this lovely guest house. The room was well maintained and very clean with all the extras you would get with a hotel room. Double bed was very comfortable and warm. Bathroom was very clean and newly refurbished. Breakfast was 1st class and the hosts knowledge of the local area was very good.

Pleased with this choice for our overnight stay, friendly staff, comfortable room, very clean. Excellent breakfast and good value for money. Only slight oddity was the Hand wash basin was in the room rather than the en suite.

Great location and great guest house. The building is traditional and of real historic significance. My room was clean and the breakfasts were wonderful. The owners "Martin & Pearl" are wonderful, interesting hosts. I cannot wait to return!
