A very warm welcome. Grange is a lovely town with plenty of amenities. Excellent place to stay to explore the lakes. The hotel itself is a lovely building. Rooms are of a good size and spotlessly clean. Bathrooms are also very clean and bright. Lovely touches like spring water and biscuits. Breakfasts are excellent with plenty of choice. Jackie was... Excellent hotel service, Jacky is really helpful, wonderful promenade walk 2 mins away, wonderful breakfast and excellent value for money, tea, hot chocolate and lovely cookies in the room. Will be returning if in the area.

Whilst planning on visiting the lakes we chose to stay at this hotel as my parents had stayed here before. Once me, my girlfriend and my parents had arrived they were surprised to find out it was a new owner who had only been there for 24 hours but this didn't stop it being a brilliant stay. The rooms were... More

Found this hotel on my 3rd look for accommodation whilst doing the Sustrans Bay Cycle Route. It was half the price of other local hotels so I was a bit apprehensive. Fears unfounded. Very warm welcome. Secure storage for our bikes. Two basic single rooms that were clean and obviously recently refurbished. Lovely hot shower and very fluffy new towels.... More

Chose this Hotel due to reviews and proximity to Cartmel. We used to have a Caravan just up the road so know the area well. I was delighted with the Hotel, staff and accommodation. The breakfasts were of a very high standard and you could tell the best products were used. The Bistro as small but very popular. The Prawn... More

Stayed here on solo trip to use a base. The room was very small, but clean. The bathroom was ok, though i did get worried when i turned the hot water tap.. and nothing came out. Left and came back ten minutes later and was ok then. The landlord was fine, i had to leave before breakfast was being served,... More

We have stayed in Grange a number of times, and have usually travelled out of the town to eat. This year we decided to try the Lymehurst Bistro, which is located to the side of the accommodation, and we were not disappointed. The bistro is small but cosy and well decorated. It provides a comfortable environment in which to enjoy... More

We booked a 3 day stay at Lymehurst based on the other reviews that we read on Trip Advisor, however on reflection it doesn’t feel like we stayed at the same hotel! Firstly, I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and this definitely wasn’t of a 4 star standard. I’d say this was a 3 star at very best and... More

We decided to stay here based on previous reviews although quite expensive to stay. The owners were in the process of exchanging contracts and due to leave the business within the next few days. Therefore there were no bar facilities until the evening which was a shame. The room was spacious and clean with plenty of room for the dog... More
