Luckily came across this charming little place on a recent visit to Fowey. Beamed ceilings and full of character. Enjoyed a very nice afternoon tea sat at a table by the window. Very easy to find in one of the main streets.

Nice pot of Tea for two and teacakes on a wet Sunday afternoon. Splendidly old property. Owners limited by restrictions of property. Dog friendly. All good enough, therefore. Parking handily nearby, as a very damp day.

We were in Fowey looking for a cup of tea and found this place. It was warm and cosy and full of historical interest. We enjoyed our sandwiches and cakes very much, and were delighted to make the acquaintance of the gorgeous Frank, the Labrador who lives there. Do pop in if you are in Fowey!

Quaint little cafe with lots of character. There is a wide menu and we chose the cream teas including gluten free. They were nice though not inspiring. Sadly the staff were rather grumpy with barely a smile between them.

I put a review on which I think reading it back was unfair on the place. The actual restaurant was lovely and old. I was hoping to meet the dog the wanders around and thought it was a nice touch to put a note on the table to tell you he was in the restaurant and wandered around. I was...

What an amazing place, found it quite by chance, just popped in for tea, would love to stay there next time in Fowey. So friendly & attentive, lovely food. Very interesting pictures of how it used to be & how they dug out the cellar, amazing amount of work. Check out the notice in the loo regarding planning permission

What a fabulous, characterful Hotel. Lovely comfortable room (The Tudor). The hosts Tim,Paula and Frank the dog made me,my wife and our 12 week old puppy feel completely at home. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was first class and catered for all of my fussy dietary needs. Fowey is a lovely place to visit but it was made even better...

Visited this place twice during our stay for breakfast. What more could you want - great food and friendly service. I believe this is in the oldest building in Fowey! Low ceilings and beams - amazing. Fred the black Labrador wanders about looking for food but is no problem at all and in fact makes the visit all the more...

Definitely recommend it. If we have the opportunity to return we will make a point of dropping in again.

Thought we'd have a look in and stop for a drink and ended up having lunch. Good gluten free options, and a huge Ploughman's Lunch! Not bad prices and a black lab who serves as a hoover once guests have left. A place with lots of character. Can feel a little warm and crowded when busy with the low ceilings,...
