Arrived at this lovely hotel to a very warm welcome. Log fires blazing in a couple of fireplaces with plentiful chairs and sofas to lounge on, which added to the feeling of comfort and relaxation that this hotel exudes. After being given a quick tour of the hotel, we were shown to our big, comfortable and stylish room (Mary Ann).... More

Well, we didn't really want to leave!!! From a warm welcome on arrival to a fond farewell; the team at the hotel just couldn't have been more hospitable if they'd tried. It was such a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and the service was attentive, yet relaxed. We took our dog, who received a warm welcome also and there were two dog... More

We bought a spa day and an afternoon tea through Groupon, the idea being to have a lovely spa and then move on late afternoon. The hotel is beautiful and the staff very nice and attentive. We had a full body massage and that was really good. The unfortunate bit is that this is not a spa hotel and apart... More

We stayed here for one night, arrived at about 5pm,(it was a last minute booking via booking.com) they seemed very concerned that they didn't have our credit card details and I didn't feel it was a warm welcome, perhaps that was me being overly sensitive. Our room was really lovely, one wall was virtually all glass window/door with great view to the lawns... More

In all honesty my first review of Fowey Hall was not very high at all, we had the opportunity to stay again 9 months later and we had a very positive, excellent stay, probably our best UK hotel break. We are 2 adults and 2 children (age 9 and 11), the hotel is extremely child friendly, the staff are exceptionally... More

A friend and I booked in for a 'winter warmer' and we weren't disappointed. We started with a swim in the lovely pool, relaxing in outdoor hot tub overlooking Fowey and the sea, then a upper body massage and a facial in one of the three treatment rooms. Finished with a small cream tea in front of the fire. The... More

I went to an inclusive spa session. Lovely clean spa area and deck which was situated away from the main hotel. Nice pamper I had a mini manicure which I smudged so was touched up before I left. Deck area and hot tub were great with pleasant sea views to Polruan. We had coffee served on the deck from the... More

I can't rate this Hotel highly enough. The hotel manages to balance the needs of its guests (adult, children & dogs) perfectly. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, as is the rest of the building. The staff are all friendly and can't do enough for you. The atmosphere is very relaxing and laid back. Breakfast and Dinner are a... More

A great Hotel. Staff are friendly, welcoming, obliging, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are comfortable, relaxing, warm, clean, fresh. The views are out of this world. Food leaves a bit to be desired sometimes but the staff are always willing to change or replace or redo if one is not satisfied. Walks from the Hotel or even a... More

This hotel is a beauty sitting on top of the hill over looking glorious Fowey. Built in the late Victorian era the features have remained sympathetically intact - the dining room is quite gorgeous as was the evening meal we enjoyed here. It is a brilliant hotel for children but we didn't have any with us and didn't realise it... More
