We arrived at Fowey for the first time and went to tourist information for help in finding an ensuite room for one night. We were extremely lucky to be offered Trevanion and as we preferred a king size bed, they especially jigged things around to accommodate us. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast...

A very comfortable bed and breakfast. We had the ground floor room which had a brilliant shower. Lovely touches like Penquin biscuits, shower stuff topped up daily and new flannels each day as well. Breakfast great. Delicious bacon, local eggs and sausages. Our car was even housed in a garage which was a tremendous treat for it, Would thoroughly recommend

The guest house is really well located, just near the centre of Fowey. We arrived while cycling LEJoG and they locked up our bicycles in a side passage (not covered, but easy to access and secure), and directed us to a few local pubs. Our room was lovely, great wifi, everything was clean, etc etc., but the show stopper at...

We stayed here at the end of our first day cycling LEJOG. The room was beautiful, comfortable and welcoming (as was the hot bath!) The town is pretty. Hosts were friendly and helpful, putting our tandem in their garage. Breakfast was delicious and supplemented by a sumptuous variety of delicious fruit.

We stayed at Trevanion for 4 nights at end of April. Due to refurbishment of one guestroom our first 2 nights were spent in large ensuite guestroom downstairs, we were then moved to large ensuite upstairs for the other 2 days (just short of rooms for number of guests arriving on different days.) There was no problem with this. Our...

Stayed here for the first time for 3 nights. While the rooms where nice and the breakfast was good, they let themselves down with the lack of hot water. First room we were in had a bath and no shower (we did know this when we booked). However, there was no hot water for the bath. We were told to...

We booked to stay here for two nights but liked it so much that we stayed a day longer. Steve and Ali were the perfect hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was sumptuous. The Trevanion is a delightful house and full of character. We cannot wait to visit again.

I have visited the Trevanion Guest House twice now and both times I have had a fantastic experience! The house itself is very beautiful with a really cottage feel about it. It is situated in an ideal location, just a 5 minute walk to the main high street in Fowey which is right next to the river. Everything is within...

If you are looking for power showers, plastic double glazing and efficiently characterless rooms, then the Trevanion Guest House is probably not for you. Ali and Steve, with the assistance of Poppy, are the proprietors of this B and B, which is in an old property situated just above the Church in Fowey and a 5 minute walk steeply downhill...

We've been regulars to Trevanion now for several years, and wanted to share our experiences with other potential users. It is old and quirky, but Ali and Steve play to this to create a really happy experience for users. The rooms are all well appointed, some with fabulous views over the town and harbour, and all nicely decorated with little...
