Celebrated our one year wedding anniversary was amazing . Got a golf cart to the bubble dome and a tour of where everything was . Arrived at the premium dome and it is better than the pictures . Very private , spacious and well heated . We had a custom welcome sign with sweet treats for the occasion. They knew we didn’t drink so in the mini bar there was San Pellegrino , bottled water and a bottle of nonalcoholic Prosecco. Never had that option in hotel before usually lucky to get a fizzy drink . There was so many lovely little details in the dome, robes , slippers , eye mask, ear plugs, control heating , electric blankets , bubble bath , individual good quality toiletries. But the star of the show was the over sized bath tub !! By the way we were so lucky the night we stayed there was shooting stars and a super moon, really magical. We went to restaurant for dinner, what a treat !! They had a tasting menu set up where you order two of each course and share with your partner ( this is advised, you can do it your own way either) but I enjoyed wider taste of the menu . It also added a romantic experience . When I ordered my drink of coke the waiter informed me there were nonalcoholic alternatives on the menu . I never saw it and I assumed they didn’t have much like most places . They had the best selection in one place I have ever seen . A whole Mocktail menu , red and white wine , cider , beer , gin etc . Had a taste of a few items all fantastic . But honestly the staff in the restaurant is what made the place five star . Never had to ask for anything they always anticipated what I wanted . Suggested down time between main meal and desert . Refreshing offer as most restaurants are trying to turn over tables as fast as possible. Really showing their relaxing environment is in every element of location . Just lovely chatty people . Thank-you Barry , Hugo , Curtis and Marian !! There also many activites for free such as renting bikes , forest walk , section of the spa , movies , coffee and mimosa after breakfast The spa looked sensational I will be back to use that next time . The eye for detail in every aspect is what makes it so phenomenal. In summary this is amazing place book it you will not regret. Thank you so much again we will be back

Outstanding! This place is out of this world. Delivers in every single aspect. The views, location, facilities, cleanliness, unique accommodation, restaurant, secluded spa trail, impeccable service, incredible breakfast in the room, activities on offer, and all the added little extras such as mimosas and pastry at 11am and glass of Prosecco on the spa trail. Everything is just so well thought out e.g. providing a waterproof phone case when you take the kayaks out, and the changing facilities and water shoes at the spa trail to name but a few. We have been lucky enough to stay in some amazing places over the world and this place is absolutely up there with the best of them. If you can afford to treat yourself to this place you won’t regret it, it is pure bliss.
We only had one night but wished we could have stayed for longer. Thank you for making it such a beautiful place to stay.

What an experience!! I found Finn Lough by googling the most romantic spots in Ireland and it did not dissapoint. We arrived to free prosecco while we waited for a personal chauffeur to take us to out dome. We were taken on a golf trolley up to our forest dome, during this time getting lots of info from our driver on locations of the lake, restaurant etc. Each dome has its own gate with intercom, has a lovely area to sit and watch the stars outside. Inside we had complimentary robes laid out on the four poster bed, water in the fridge and a fully stocked coffee machine(essential). There was a lovely little board with a message wishing my partner a happy birthday- the personal touch made it very special. We took a walk through the trail to the lake and sat for nearly an hour on the bench, eyes closed listening to the water, it was pure bliss. We had our dinner in The Barn Restaurant and my god, I have never experienced fine dining like this before. Every dish was explained to a T by the waiting staff and tasted phenomenal. It rained heavily that night but hearing the rain pelting off the dome was just magical. The next morning we had our breakfast delivered to us in a gorgeous wooden box. It was filled with pastries, juice, overnight oats, breakfast baps and yoghurts, it was beautiful. Overall our experience was 10/10 and we can't wait to go back again đź’ž

Dear lynneh999, Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We are absolutely delighted to hear that Finn Lough lived up to your expectations as one of the most romantic spots in Ireland. It’s wonderful to know that you enjoyed the little touches, like the prosecco on arrival, the lift on the buggy at check-in, and the special birthday message — we love creating those memorable moments for our guests. We’re so glad you were able to take time to relax by the lake and enjoy the serenity of our forest domes, and that your dining experience at The Barn left such a lasting impression. The rain on the dome sounds magical — it's one of those experiences that adds a whole new layer to the charm of the place. It’s also great to hear that you enjoyed breakfast delivered to your dome, especially the selection of pastries, overnight oats, and breakfast baps. We aim to make every part of your stay special and personalized, and we’re so happy that it made such an impact. Thank you for sharing your 10/10 experience with us. We can’t wait to welcome you back for another unforgettable stay! Eleonora Lombardini Guest Experience Supervisor FinnLough

Bubble dome was a good experience. In need of a little maintenance (sticker on bathroom window peeling off, scratches up the door, bathroom door did not close properly etc). Check in was relatively simple. Although not quicker in any way having done all the check in forms and provided payment details in advance. These were all asked for again on arrival. Room had milk, biscuits etc provided which were nice little touches. We were not told about some of the other features of the room when we checked in but managed to figure them out for ourselves. We had one issue which we tried to phone reception about using the phone number provided but there was no answer and no opportunity to leave a message. We had a dinner reservation booked in and had high hopes for this given some of the reviews we had read. The menu choice was reasonable and the food nice. The service, however, was what let down the whole meal. Starters, drinks and main course was brought out with no issues. We waited after we finished the main course for someone to come over and clear plates and bring over the dessert menus so that we could order dessert, more drinks and coffee. We waited and waited and waited and after 25 minutes gave in and walked up to the till where we had to wait another 5 minutes to pay. Given the number of tables and waiting staff in there, there was no reason for our table to be ignored. Breakfast arrived in a hamper. We were asked to choose options on arrival to minimise food waste. This was not entirely followed with some items provided that we had indicated that we didn’t want.

On viewing the prices, you may think this place is very expensive for what is essentially luxury clamping, but all of the little added touches, complementary prosecco, snacks and customer service make it worth every penny. We were greeted at reception and transported to our dome, which was lovely, warm and clean. We were met with a bottle of prosecco chilling and some lovely nibbles. We booked the spa trail experience which was just lovely. Each party has sole use of each experience allowing maximum relaxation. The staff here were very helpful and it was a nice little treat to be offered complementary prosecco as we enjoyed the hot tub. The Dome was well equipped, I was very happy to have a hairdryer provided as I hadn't planned on getting my hair wet at the spa! Dinner was absolutely spectacular. I was a little cautious as I have quite a plain palette, but the staff were very accommodating and it was probably the nicest meal I have ever eaten. After dinner, we made our way to the bar where we were met by the friendliest bar man. He was very knowledgeable and was happy to make my husband a cocktail that wasn't on the menu. We then relaxed in the cinema room where we were provided with a big tub of warm popcorn. Our bed was warm and comfortable for laying back and watching the stars as we drifted off to sleep in tranquil surroundings. We woke to a beautiful sunrise and the calls of the local birds. A delicious breakfast hamper was brought to the dome and again the food was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The shining stars of our experience were the staff. Every single member of staff was professional, attentive, warm and friendly. Couldn't have asked for more.

Great place for a chill, my 3rd time here, New Year’s Eve this time and it was an incredible night. Food was amazing, everything was delicious and staff all around are brilliant! Incredibly helpful and friendly. Only thing that we would change is the breakfast coming to the room in the box, we would much prefer to go down to a lovely cooked breakfast then a pre prepared brekie. With cost of room, a hot served breakfast in the morning should come with the price we felt but all round great time.

Dear Pioneer2404754002, Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re thrilled to hear that you had another memorable stay at Finn Lough, especially for a special New Year’s Eve celebration. It’s wonderful to know that you enjoyed the food and had such a positive experience with our staff – we truly appreciate your kind words! We also appreciate your feedback regarding breakfast. We have started delivering breakfast to each accommodation's door in a hamper since Covid19 and we have noticed a major preference from our guests' feedback regarding having a cozy breakfast in bed rather than a sit down one. Each breakfast is freshly prepared in the morning before delivery, that is why we take the order upon arrival to make sure we have all the details ready for our chef in the morning. However, we’ll certainly take your suggestion into consideration as we continually strive to enhance the guest experience. We’re so glad you had a great time, and we look forward to welcoming you back for your fourth visit in the future! Eleonora Lombardini Guest Experience Supervisor Finn Lough Team

It was OK but not worth the money. Stayed as a post wedding "mini-moon", a member of staff rang me a couple of weeks before and asked if it was a special occasion but now that I am home and read other reviews, they didn't seem to make an effort to celebrate it. I have read other reviews where people got free upgrades or a bottle of prosecco etc, but we actually ended up paying for an upgrade but it wasn't really worth it. I know a special occasion does not automatically make me entitled to anything for free, but I just read other reviews who did seem to get upgraded for birthdays etc so it seems inconsistent. The spa trail is nice, however we were offered prosecco when we got to the hot tub, which we took, but after we opened it we realised we had been given non alcoholic prosecco, and then charged for it at check out - wish it had been highlighted to us that it wasn't complimentary as ÂŁ20 for 2 glasses of non alcoholic prosecco is expensive. We finished the spa trail and went to reception to check in at 3.30pm, but our room still wasn't ready. The member of staff gave us coffee/mulled wine until our room was ready at 4.10pm, but we had to sit and wait at reception for 40 mins (with wet hair). I thought we might have been offered a late check out or something because of this but we weren't. The staff in the restaurant were really friendly, and accommodated my dietary requirements (coeliac). I felt confident that the food I was eating was completely gluten free. We both got sick during the night (we only had 2 drinks each, so assuming it was food from the restaurant), so didn't sleep at all, plus the dome was very noisy with the wind outside and a clicking noise coming from the bathroom. Overall, I have to say the staff were lovely, but it is absolutely not worth the ÂŁ700 this cost for 1 night stay. The premium dome doesn't feel premium at all, there isn't even a door for the toilet, so unfortunately I won't be back. You could spend this money at a really nice hotel and feel a bit more special.

I had a voucher to use for the pods in Finn lough, and I had been waiting for excitedly and consciously to go there. We had an extremely busy year so we decided to use the voucher last week… unfortunately when we went, it was very cold, On our arrival, we met very attentive staff and they took us to the outdoor hot tub which we had use of for 1 1/2 hours and although it was lovely Sunday night and the beautiful countryside there was something missing… After this, we went back to the reception where they took us on a little golf cart to our pod and on arrival, the young girl called Bianca give us the key to the gate, and just to reiterate the pods do not lock, so you have a key for the gate . When we went inside, it definitely has a different experience, looking out to all the beautiful trees, but it didn’t feel overly warm. We decided to go for a little walk and came across the complimentary bikes, so decided to take a little by bike ride along a little pass nearby which was beautiful. We got ready for dinner and because it was quite cold. We decided to wrap up a little bit warmer and glad we did as the restaurant wasn’t overly warm. The staff were very informative about all the dishes but I do have to add. They were extremely expensive and they firstly advised to take between 6 to eat dishes and share , I don’t know how we could share the portions because they were extremely small. My husband ordered the fish and there were two small pieces of fish not to mention for tiny pieces of bread for £6 which I thought was unacceptable, especially when we have been to numerous restaurants and the bread is complimentary. On a positive note, the food was very tantalising, just portions, extremely small . When we went back to our pod. We had asked a member of staff to give it a little boost to heat it up and it was a little bit warmer but it had got cold very quickly so thankfully there was an electric blanket on the bed which my husband had turned on just before we left, and if that had not been there, I do not think we would’ve stayed as it was extremely cold… Although it was called when we put off the lights and looked all around us the beautiful, dark sky with the twinkling stars was mesmerising absolutely beautiful experience. The next morning, I decided to have a shower but the wet room unfortunately isn’t very adequate as water went everywhere. Wetting towels and toilet roll. And the breakfast, which came in a little basket, was very underwhelming So, overall experience wasn’t the greatest apart from looking at the stars in the sky, which I won’t forget !!

For an alternative couples experience, I would highly recommend this get away. We stayed in a bubble dome which was very cool. Cars are left at the gate and guests are taken by golf cart to the private domes. Our dome had shower space in private, a bathtub in the dome and bedroom in another part. So it was like two bubbles with a private shower/toilet. The room had a stocked alcohol fridge, coffee maker and snacks. There are two reclining chairs and throws to make it feel homey. We walked to the restaurant and enjoyed a fine dining experience. Spending the night was like sleeping on a bed in the middle of the forest only with no bugs or unwanted surprises. We enjoyed looking at the stars and listening to the forest. As the bubbles are private with a fence and locking gate, it feels very safe. We woke up to a soft rain and a breakfast hamper at our door. The breakfast had yummy comfort food and was plentiful.

Hi Martine.
We stayed June this year. We did not get one of the pods but got a suite. There was a nespresso machine and a kettle. Some coffee and teas were supplied but i cannot remember if there was decaf. But maybe with the kettle being in the suites they might be in the pods too.
There are more places to choose from in the Enniskillen area.
