As other people have said perhaps not the most glamorous of places. However this is more than made up by the enthusiasm of the staff and for the price the food. It certainly wasn't gourmet cuisine but for the price you wouldn't expect it. Portions were huge. If you want large portions of food and to be looked after by...

Whilst this Hotel needs considerable investment, it does make an honest offering. The rooms are very basic with old fittings and facilities but very clean and recently painted. It is not Travelodge or Premiere Inn but on the other hand they don't have a well stocked Bar and this place does, or offer you exactly the specific breakfast that you...

Used this hotel for 1 night accommodation after we visited Thursford Christmas Spectacular. It was a fantastic find only around 10 miles from Thursford in a lovely Norfolk Village. We had bed breakfast and Christmas Menu and all very nice. The rooms have been very tastefully decorated the bed huge and comfortable and the bathroom spotless. Can highly recommend this...

Didn't stay at the hotel, but four of us came for a meal . The menu was small, but offered a reasonable vegetarian choice. The mixed grill was good, as was my roasted vegetable lasagna. The dessert menu was only a choice of three, very basic. But reasonable value for money and friendly staff

This could be a lovely thriving pib/restaurant if there was some TLC put into it. Big car park and good location. Inside the pub looks very worn and tired. Carpet is worn, walls are peeling etc. Sauces are very basic. Ordered food, large portions and OAP menu good value. Tasty food. No table service, no checks if ok, not much...

This was the worst hotel I had ever stayed in. The room was dirty and smelt of cigarette smoke. The carpet was greasy. The bathroom was a disgrace. We had booked breakfast but cancelled it as we couldn't bear to eat in this hotel. The location is good for Dereham but the rooms need urgently updating. The pillows in the...
