A very good small hotel. It was very clean, with helpful friendly staff together with all the benefits of a Weatherspoons bar and eatery attached. There is limited parking but that didn't prove troublesome. I would stay there again.

We arranged a family get together as our family live in East Dereham and they suggested the Romany Rye which I'm pleased they did because our stay has been great. The staff have been so accommodating and the food is very good for pub grub. The rooms are clean and tidy and having the tea/coffee facilities in our room was...

This JDW pub/hotel was good value for money and in an excellent location in Dereham for exploring North Norfolk. The rooms were clean and spacious and the pub is open from 7 a.m. for a good range of breakfast options. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay, thank you! The vegetarian in our party was pleased to have the...

I stayed here in September on business. A quaint little town with quite a few places to eat. The hotel staff a pleasant and welcoming, the rooms a spacious and well appointed, maybe a touch too expensive for this type of accommodation but never the less good value. The car park is very small offering just a few spaces.

Stayed for 3 nights. Slept really well. Good size room, comfy bed and all we needed. We had stayed in another Wetherspoon hotel in Ripon. Overall great value. Food & drinks all at great Wetherspoon prices. Would recommend.

I have never stayed in a Wetherspoon's hotel before and was pleasantly surprised at how good this was. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms clean and comfortable, although the décor of the corridors was rather dingy. Breakfasted in the pub which was good value. Very few parking spaces but plenty of free parking nearby. I had...

Hotel is average, no lift for access to rooms, stairs only and we were on the 2nd floor. Rooms were far too hot, windows only open slightly, no air conditioning or unable to set the temperature in room. Rooms were only provided a small fan but all this did was push the hot air around. Room was clean and basic....

Apart from the sweltering heat of the room, we were extremely impressed by the Romany right from the staff at reception to the moment we checked out. It has inspired us to seek out as many Wetherspoons as we can, where you can stay overnight. Huge room, abundance of refreshment in the room and a BATH! Loved the fact that...

Arrived after late after a long drive, check in ok. Room bright and well equipped. Very warm no aircon, opened window to help, as a result was awoken very early by street cleaning services around 0530hrs then refuse trucks etc. Breakfast very good value, quick polite service.
