What a lovely place! We booked all 3 lodges as it was a family break for the weekend. The lodges are so cosy but spacious too. Everything you need in the lodges and more! Such comfy beds! The location is great as so private and pretty. Also a hot tub and BBQ area, if you wanted. Owners so helpful and...

We came as a group of friends to celebrate a 50th birthday. Location was beautiful & perfect Accommodation was beyond what we expected - perfect for adults, children and dogs! Hot tub was awesome and used it lots, even at the end of November! (Room for 6 people) We did click n collect at a local supermarket on our way...

Thank you for your comments, Daisy. As you say, the fire alarm is essential and we have to take the safety of our guests very seriously. The shop where you found the expensive beans must have been a small independent store, there are many other shops in our area with more 'realistic' prices - as we hope you will discover...

My wife and I stayed at the Danby at forest of dean lodges this weekend and had a great time. The lodge had everything we needed and was warm and copy. The lodge was clean and well specced with lovely underfloor heating. It was a great place to stay to explore what the for of dean has to offer.

Our family of four stayed for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. Cottages are very well equipped, loved the hot tub more than the dishwasher though! Fixtures and fittings are of a very high standard and the fact that it had a spa on site was an added bonus. The surrounding area was so beautiful and we took...

Was perfect short holiday stay for our family with little dog. We had a Kensley self catering lodge, and our dog was just spoiled by underfloor heating. Beds were very comfortable which is significant for those who suffers back problems. We just fell in love with the area that why we are coming back second time. The best thing I...

We stayed at Latimer Lodge last week and had the most relaxing time in a beautiful location, surrounded by the woods. The lodge itself is so much bigger than it appears in the pictures, despite being the smaller of the three and is so cosy, comfortable, warm and well equipped. We also used the hot tub twice!! We just can't...

We have just arrived home after staying at the lodges for the eighth or ninth time (we've lost count). We have stayed for the last three years over New Year, last September for the Falconry Weekend at ICBP Newent, a handful of times in summer, an early stay this year in March and finally our honeymoon last week. Erica and...

Just had a lovely long weekend in Kensley Lodge. Very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Erica was really helpful. Great visits to the Sculpture Trail and Symonds Yat - and the weather was magnificent too! All the family (and the dog) had a fantastic time - highly recommended!
