We stayed on Sat 4th Feb for a family wedding! They let us have an earlier check in time without extra charges so we could freshen up and unpack before the wedding! Great Central location, super comfy bed with a modern and clean en suite, friendly staff, yummy breakfast nothing was too much trouble would definitely recommend and will return...

Visiting Bude on business and staying in 'The Falcon' hotel (see my other review). Popped to The Brendon Arms for dinner as its directly next door to the hotel. Food came out fast and the staff were very friendly so no complaints. I ordered the Scampi n chips and a pint of Rattler Cornish cider. Food was ok but not...

Just had an excellent late Christmas meal with our twinning group. Service and food was good and plentiful. Comfortable seating plan where everyone could see each other. The orders were prebooked from an interesting choice two or three courses at very reasonable prices. Thank you.

En-suite bathroom was spacious and warm, but bedroom was basic, had an awful view, cramped, cold and drafty. The bed was very uncomfortable. I requested another duvet to sleep on, which helped. Breakfast quality was poor. Service good, and friendly bar staff.

A great location, with newly refurbished rooms. The staff are very friendly and happy to help out from the cleaners to the management. Well priced with a good breakfast and a great choice of evening meals comprising of honest pub food and excellent pub burgers, along with other good choices. Would recommend!

On two occasions we have visited the Brendon Arms this year - once in Sept and then in December both at lunchtime - both in the restaurant. The service was adequate but the food quality was poor - oily lasagne, packet frozen veg and not as advertised, a homemade pie!! In Sept we had, as a group, the Christmas meal...

We stayed one night in the Brendon in a double room which was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well equipped, the bedroom was clean and good storage space. Tea and coffee facilities on offer too with tv and wi fi. We were concerned it would be noisy on a Friday but our room was above the restaurant...

My son and his wife travelled over from Poland to spend 3 nights near us. The accommodation was self catering, very clean, quaint, all necessary amenities, and perfect for their needs. As it was Christmas, the extra touches of Christmas tree, decorations, Christmas Card, large box of chocolates - were just delightful. Thank you for helping make our Christmas a...

Just needed to say, moved here 2 years ago, the best thing to happen to this pub is James Cox, he make the bar hum, he listens to the locals, understands their needs, has respect for all patrons, absolutely brilliant bar manager, pub would not be the same without him.
