We were lucky enough to spend 2 nights here in this excellent example of B & B hospitality. Carol made us feel very at home with a lovely cream tea upon arrival. Spacious and spotlessly clean accommodation, we even had exclusive use of the guests lounge area along with a cosy woodburner to keep us warm on a windy December...

One of the best B and Bs that we have stayed in. I am sitting in the guests lounge in front of the fire writing this review. Lovely large ensuite room, with top fixtures and fittings. It also has chairs and table together with fridge and fresh milk. Fantastic breakfast, and very friendly host Carol. Bude a short walk along cycleway....

Gorgeous room, clean, well presented with every thought put into all the little details. Fantastic location right in the countryside but only 10 minutes walk along the canal or old railway path into Bude. Perfect hospitality from Carol the owner and yummy cream tea on arrival. Combine that with the delicious breakfast and Bagbury Byre goes down in the top...

My wife and I stayed for 4 days and had only one regret. We should have stayed longer, much longer. Carol, our hostess, was the best. Everything was as we would have wished. The location was great, the character of the old barn had a charm and comfort rarely found, the cleanliness was clinical and the food brilliantly prepared and...

We stayed for 4 nights in the Meadowside room and had a lovely stay. Carol made us feel very welcome and provided a superb breakfast each day. The location was perfect - quiet and rural but only a short 10 minute walk into Bude down a lovely footpath alongside the canal. Our room itself was spotless with a very comfortable...

Found this gem on late rooms and mainly selected it because it had parking which was quite a premium in Bude. The reviews had all been very good so felt very confident, although on arrival I felt it was further from the sea than I had imagined. This didn't matter though as the walk into Bude and the coast was...

A very good find, this friendly B+B was fantastic. We, sadly, only stayed one night in a very smart room that was completely spotless with beautiful smelling linen!! We took our 9month old and Carol had found another travel cot for us and it was all ready made up when we arrived. It was fantastic with a little one to...
