This was a special treat for a 21st birthday and we where not disappointed. Despite a very dull and wet day, we where made to feel welcome and the service of the staff was excellent. The tea was lovely with tasty sandwiches, lovely warm scones with lashings of cream and a nice selection of cakes.

Stayed here for 2 nights last week and what a wonderful treat it was. I came with my mother and two sisters and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hotel is breathtakingly beautiful with very attractive grounds. The afternoon tea and champagne on arrival was a great start. We had a great deal which included dinner bed and breakfast each...

We have stayed at several Hand Picked hotels but this was the best yet. We got a super deal staying Sunday night for 3 nights, breakfast was included as was a three course dinner. The food was excellent, a new chef arrived just two weeks ago and he is a real asset to the hotel. We stayed in Foxhills and...

This stunning hotel sits amidst the incredible beauty of the New Forest. The rooms are excellent, as is the service and food. The venue is perfect for either a relaxing break or an active one. We took the opportunity to both mountain bike and run in the forest and the excellent bike trails and amazing single track are minutes from...

Dear Warlock1963 Thank you for taking the time to post your wonderful review to Trip Advisor. A good stay is as much about the surrounding area as they Hotel itself and the cycling and running are fabulous in the New Forest and as you have pointed out start at the bottom of the drive. Always great to return home to...

Stayed on a Sunday evening after a day walking in the New Forest . You can get a substantial discount staying on a Sunday evening which brings the price down to "expensive" as opposed to "how much?". Had an executive room (well worth the £30 upgrade), a bit of a "corporate feel" but excellent bed, good room, very quiet. Hotel...

We had a great deal for a 2 night stay including one afternoon tea with champagne plus dinner bed and breakfast each day. A beautiful setting and spacious, well appointed rooms with a fridge and all recently painted. The dining rooms are characterful and the meals are excellent. The staff are polite and courteous. The spa whilst small is crisp...

Dear Weed2013 Thank you for taking the time to post you recent review to Trip Advisor and I was really pleased to read you had enjoyed you stay with us. Champagne and scones in the afternoon has surely got to be one of the most decadent things to do. Scrumptious.

If you think 'you're worth it' then prove it by treating yourself to a cream tea at Rhinefield House in the New Forest. Elegant, refined, sophisticated - even if you're none of these, don't worry because Rhinefield is. It has a genteel and comfortable lounge with a view of the pond and outside seating/barbecue area, crisp linen napkins and table...

Dear SouthseaMush Thank you for taking the time to post your fantastic review to Trip Advisor. I am always so pleased when we receive excellent reviews but I think it is the likening to Dowton Abbey that has thrilled me so much as it is my favourite Television program at the moment. Hope to see you again soon My Lordship.

We splashed out on an Executive room here for our tenth wedding anniversary in August. Lovely as expected, especially wandering the grounds and exploring the maze!
