Welcoming hosts in wonderful setting. We stayed in Vine Cottage (self catering) where the accommodation was spacious and very family friendly, the hot tub added a bit of luxury! Very convenient location for beach and countryside walks and easy drive to towns and attractions. We will be back

We visited Devon at the beginning of September and stayed in the Linhay cottage which we found very comfortable and homely. The cleanliness in the cottage was second to none. Both Chris and Carol were very welcoming and did their best to make our stay pleasurable. Both were very informative about the area and recommended several places for us to... More

This is what is needed when you just want to get away and know that it will be a good stay. A warm welcome with lots of local knowledge imparted as to where good dining might be found. The room was very comfortable, with a nice little touch of small complimentary bottles of water (sparkling and still) - a well... More

We booked to stay at The Pines so we could be close to visit Clovelly on our way down to Cornwall. It was fabulous!- we got a very warm welcome from carol and Chris and they continued to make us feel very welcome. We stayed in a lovely room in the old stable block as we were travelling with a... Tucked away in the Devon countryside yet close to all main routes this excellent establishment ticks all the boxes. Set in extensive grounds ideal for a leisurely wander through the gardens and orchard or, for the more ambitious, a walk through the fields and country lanes. The proprietors deliver a service of an incredibly high standard from the welcome with... More

Carol and Chris are the perfect hosts. We had a wonderful stay at this lovely guesthouse. Everything had been carefully thought through and efficiently organised, even down to complimentary drinks and nibbles, books to read and, most importantly, superb detailed information to make the most of your break. They were so helpful and charming in every respect. Thank you!

Stayed here for the third time in early July in the Lundy room which is spacious, airy, light and very comfortable. There was an assortment of luxury bathroom items and thick soft white towels. Breakfast was faultless: fresh juices, cereals, home made bread and marmalade and fruit compote, and if you had room after that lot, there was the full... More

I'm currently walking the entire South West Coast Path to raise money for FORCE and Over and Above, two South West charities that support cancer patients and their families. Chris and Carol very kindly agreed to be my Accommodation Partner and Gold Sponsor in the Bideford/Instow area. The Pines at Eastleigh is the best and most classy B&B I've ever... More
