Me and my fiancé stayed here for a long weekend away. We were made to feel so welcome here, the staff were lovely, the rooms were spotless and the pub is great. Very family friendly as well, although we didn't sty as a family this time we would definitely come back with our little boy. Perfect location too for sightseeing,...

Great location, unfortunately not what we expected, no breakfast alternatives, no juice no cereal. Broken shower, broken cold tap, no change of towels, dusty shelves, had to wipe my clothes of dust. Sticky carpet in the pub food was basic, not what we were lead to believe.

Stayed here 1 night. very nicely decorated room, if a little on the small side. Spotlessly clean and all the facilities you would expect. Despite being in a pub there was very little noise from the bar below and we slept very well. Breakfast was delicious, well cooked and well presented. Very helpful owner, they were happy for us to...

Very nicely decorated room with all the usual amenities (coffee, tea, biscuits). For once a decent size tv but most of the channels seemed useless due poor signal. Fair sized bathroom but small shower. Enjoyed 'after arrival' beers and also had our dinner in the restaurant. Very charming, historic surroundings. Excellent breakfast, cooked to a choice on breakfast menu. A...

Despite being a small (8 rooms) B&B over a Pub I was really impressed with the standard of my room and the food. Mine host, Simon could not do more to make my 2 night stay more welcoming and pleasing. The room was airy and large with an ensuite shower room. I needed to work in the room on one...

We booked a 1 night stay due to us going to a wedding in the area. Even when we turned up early morning we were welcomed and shown to our room so we could freshen up and relax before heading off for the days event. Room was very clean and had everything you needed for a short stay. Full English...
