I stayed in one of Keith and Lisa's holiday flats for a few days and it was absolutely beautiful! Modern décor, ideal placement in the middle of town, but not so central that it's too noisy, equipped with everything I needed, cannot fault it. Both Keith and Lisa were very accommodating and were on hand to help with any problems,...

What a lovely place - right on the front so sea view from huge front windows and view of the inlet from the rear windows too. Room was huuuuge - giant bed (firm, but v comfy) and a big sofa in the front windows to admire the view from. Lovely host (Keith), and great communication. En suite was spotless, warm...

The hotel is in a great location, with easy access to the riverside pubs and eateries, walking distance to the railway station, across the river from the walk up to Nothe fort. The hotel is at the tip of a peninsula between the bay and the river. Our room on the top floor had views of both - lovely. Room...

Firstly, the website does not tell you that there is NO full breakfast. We left home having booked weeks before our visit. No communication from the owner as booked through Bookings.com as usual. Followed instructions on arrival at 3pm as no one to meet us. Instruction to phone owner resulted in no answer just voicemail to leave message. Waited 15...

Many thanks for taking the trouble to leave us a review. It's such a shame that you didn't feel able to make your comments on your departure on Saturday morning. Perhaps you could have said something when I was helping you put your bags into the car - you didn't mention this in your review, maybe you forgot. In fact...

Location was just where we wanted on the sea front Keith the owner was friendly and very helpful. Our room was lovely , most comfortable bed we have ever slept in a hotel.. But felt that the bathroom could have been cleaner or have a re furbishment. This aside we would still go back x

Lovely relaxing weekend. Fantastic views of sea and harbour , room and bathroom clean bed comfy, quiet location, close to everything you need in Weymouth, would definitely return , this end of the esplanade is the best end in my opinion after staying further up seafront previously 😎

We meant to book the hotel, which we have stayed in before, but ended up in the apartment. What a disaster that was. If you need a restful break this is not the place for you, unless you are completely deaf. The revellers don't stop until 6am, screaming and shouting and you can hear every word, I'm sure investing in...

We only stayed the one night in Room 1. Keith was very friendly and quite quirky. The views were fantastic. The river on one side and the beach on the other. Breakfast was nice and parking was easy. Would definitely recommend

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located at start of the broad sweep of Weymouth’s grand & elegant Esplanade, the Roundhouse occupies a unique position within the curved end of one of the classic terraces of Georgian townhouses which epitomise this wonderful and historic seaside resort.# The Roundhouse boasts stunning and unrivalled views over the golden sands of Weymouth Bay in front and the picturesque 17th century harbour behind from each of its superbly appointed bedrooms. Although we do not offer breakfast, the bean to cup coffee machine in the guest lounge is available 24 hours a day, serving a range of coffees and hot chocolate, and there are complimentary croissants and pastries available every morning. If you require anything more, there are several excellent cafes within walking distance of the hotel and we would be more than happy to make recommendations. ... more   less
