Booked a room so I could attend a funeral of a family member with my partner. The room was very hot and stuffy when we entered. So first thing we did was turn the air con unit down to 17 degrees. However this did little to reduce the temperature of the room with the air on not blowing out any cold air. Didn't have time to speak to the reception as had to get changed and leave for the funeral. When we got back, the room was still too warm. Went down to reception but there was no one on the desk. I ended up leaving the room at half 2 in the morning and going to my mums house to sleep on the sofa. In the morning when we left, there was still no one on the reception desk so left our key card in the box.

Hi Tom, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're very sorry to hear you were left uncomfortable during your stay with us due to the hot temperature of your room which resulted in you leaving during the night. This certainly isn't the experience we would expect, especially as you were staying for such a delicate reason. We have ensured this feedback has been logged to the Hotel Manager so that they can look into these issues with our Maintenance and Reception teams to prevent this experience from being repeated again in the future. In future, our Reception team are on hand 24/7 to help with any issues but may be away from the desk helping other guests or completing corridor checks. If the desk is empty, there is a button you can press to get the teams attention in which they will then return to help. If you haven't already, we would recommend contacting our Guest Relations team on 0333 003 0025 who can help further with this complaint. Our apologies again and hope we can welcome you for a more enjoyable stay in the future. Kind regards, Rebecca

On reading some of the other reviews they do seem harsh, it is covid times right now so ofcourse they won't be cleaning your room during your stay! We stayed 2 nights, room was super clean, anything we requested was responded by amazingly friendly staff and was done quickly ie we needed more tea and towels and wanted our adjoining doors open between rooms. Yes annoying the temperature doesn't go below 19 as it doesn't cool the room enough considering you can't open the windows but for us luckily a minor issue as it wasn't middle of summer. Near a sainsburys so any essentials is on site and only a short drive to the seafront. We didn't have breakfast at the onsite Beefeater as we always find it a tad overpriced for breakie but we did dine there and the food was OK. Bit pricey. We had noisey people in the room above us from 3.30am but that is not the hotel or staff fault and you kinda expect it in one of the big chain hotels as you cant expect a totally quiet place when there is such a range of people using them. Recommend this Inn to stay at, lots better than others we have been to.

Managed to get two days away and it was so wonderful under the circumstances. Particularly wanted to stroll around Bowleaze cove area - having had many holidays there as a child. The staff we met were very efficient and although we could not get breakfast we drove a short distance to Morrisons Cafe. We did book our evening meal in advance and all was Covid safe. Very well done. A pleasure to eat out for a change. Good location for travelling around although parking in Weymouth area limited or very expensive (even in December). Therefore the local bus must be used frequently during busy times. Our room was clean and all as expected but feel the staff may be under pressure at times because corridors and stair needed a hoover. Plus the bolster for the single bed was stained. Planning on visiting once more when restrictions are lifted.

Thank you everyone at this Premier Inn. we had a change of scene just after Christmas, and Im so glad we came. The hotel is very clean, our family room was comfy and a good size, and the Reception Team were all lovely and helpful.we had a lovely welcome from Louise on Reception at check in, Breakfast at the Beefeater across from the hotel was great, with a nice team there. There is a Sainsburys Store within walking distance, and if you like getting buses the Number 2 bus is outside the hotel which goes into Weymouth, takes about ten minutes.

I arrived at the hotel at roughly 9pm on 02/11/2030 and checked in. When I entered my room (which I noted was not very clean) and tried to turn on the TV I noted the tv remote batteries were dead and I couldn’t turn it on. I went down to reception which was empty and pressed the buzzer call button. The sign stated to press and hold firmly. Which I did and pressed a couple of times as time passed. After 3rd/4th time a male member of staff burst through the door and shouted at me ‘I heard it the first time!!’ in front of a number of other customers. This was on an incredibly rude, aggressive and unprofessional manner. I explained that remote wasn’t working and it needed new batteries. He then ‘tutted’ didn’t say anything and then opened a door. He then just said ‘Room number!’ and then slammed my remote down and replaced the batteries. He then handed it back and I said thank you. As I walked away I then heard him make a derogatory comment to other people within the reception area. Totally unprofessional, rude and unnecessary. Needs sacking.

Hello there, thanks for taking the time to share your review. Whilst we're happy to hear you stayed with us, we're sorry the your TV remote wasn't working and you then didn't receive the best service from the team when discussing it at reception. I can imagine this left you feeling let down and this certainly isn't how we want our guest's to feel. Just so you know, we've shared your feedback with the hotel management team. We wouldn't want standard's like these to continue so this will be raised with the team to ensure any necessary retraining is arranged and the best service is being provided. We hope this doesn't make you think twice about returning so please have confidence this isn't our usual standard and your comment's will be picked up. Thanks again for getting in touch and we hope to see you again soon. Ricky
