A very nice place. The lodge was tired and could do with some TLC but this did not detract from the break. The restaurant was quite pricey however the meals were ok the steaks are done on a flame grill and were all overlooked. The other meals were great although the service was slow. I dread to think what it... More

booked at a very cheap rate so I had no big expectations. if you have children then for the money and local there is no where better. We struggled to fit all the activities the children wanted in. Again for children the evening entertainment was super. every parent knows happy children means happy mum and dads !!! Our accommodation was... More

My wife, the dog and I stayed here for a great week. We were in lodge 191. First the negatives: 1) Dogs are not allowed in any of the public buildings. It's our first uk holiday where this isn't allowed. We would have eaten in the restaurant more often if this was accepted. 2) there is no takeaway option for... More

We got the family together to celebrate a 60th here and overall everyone from age two to eighty-three had a nice time. The setting is really lovely and we were greeted almost instantly by the deer that wander the park. The accommodation was a topic of discussion. We hired 3 lodges, 2 of which were very nice with modern interiors... More

This is our third visit to Warmwell, each on a "Sun" holiday over about 10 years. The site is in mature woodland and there are no caravans, but wooden lodges with excellent facilities. This time ours was 2 bedroom, fully double glazed with brilliant central heating, corner bath and shower, lights on dimmer switches, full size gas fire in lounge... More

Went with our dog Bertie for 4 nights, and stayed in a 1-bed semi-detached lodge..bit old and tatty, and noisy neighbours, but on the plus side very quiet location in the woods, feeding ducks and deer, good walks, and good nature reserve. Great if you like fishing and snow-sports and walking. Entertainment was usual poor holiday camp fare, but we... More

We have an 2 3/4 year old and a 6 month old. Stayed in the Osmington 2. Was disappointed to see it wasn't a standalone lodge but we didn't hear any noise from neighbours. We did get some cigarette smoke though from the neighbours but shut the windows. Toddler enjoyed the pool and softplay. The softplay was nice and quiet.... More
